Old Tools and How They Can Change the World

  • I made this little vid a few months ago and mean to include some pictures of the Methodist Container Ministry warehouse where they temporarily store and sort out all the donations before sending them to different places in developing countries. I'm posting now after my pal Kev at Kev's Can Cave had something similar about what to do with old but perfectly serviceable tools. For example, I inherited from my father-in-law a sash cramp which was old when he got it. It's over a hundred years old and there's no reason it shouldn't work for another hundred.
If you find yourself in a similar situation, or even if want to leave your tools to someone who will actually use them, then please do look for a charitable organization in your area who do what Tools for Self-Reliance or Tools with a Mission do.
The age of making the world better with hands and a good heart is not gone - it has just moved house. And it'll be back. Thanks for watching and God bless you all.
