Brilliant video George - nothing wrong with “a bit of old school” it’s great seeing the ploughing going on especially with two tractors, wow. It’s hard to believe that ploughing is taking place in January! Smashing use of your drone, I’m going to watch it again now!!
What amazes me is how those tractors can handle the weight of those 6 furrow rollover ploughs. We tend to run semi mounted ploughs here in Canada, particularly once you go bigger than 4 furrows
i have just left a comment to the op about how incredible i thought it was. it gives me great heart to see how far trackors have come since my days in the industry . really wonderful
Another great video George, quick question is the plough on the Fendt set up evenly? when you look at the pair of discs one seems to have more paint worn away than the other, (like its going deeper)
Great video reminds me of days long gone plowing on our farm farmers today here in America don't even know what a breaking plow is anyway your vids are always top notch !
George, a very good video, if only to demonstrate it is far too wet, particularly the JCB running in the furrow, there is a real risk of long term soil structure damage. I guess I am on my own on this statement though.
in theory a fastrac should grip very well as most other equal wheeled machines grip hellish well like the old countys and Muir hills. I think the fastracs haven't the right weight distribution to make the most of it
Good video, I see the auto steering is not being used, is it tricky to set up with two machines working? Initially I thought the headlands would be time consuming, you seem to have it worked out.
My one gripe with the on-land setup is how the land wheel runs in the tractor wheelings. If she’s spinning, your then as a consequence ploughing deeper, which could create more spinning and so on...
That kv on the fendt looks a tight lift, no bother to the JCB it's taking it with ease, a bit heavy looking out there, and a great bit of video footage George 👍
Great video, George! Were you using GPS? If so is there a way to "explain" to it that is has to skip every other row. I would think with 2 tractors it would get confused. Or, is there some kind of tandem ploughing mode?
What wheel slip percentage george as the fent seem yo have more, was it because you had more traction, being in the furrow or fastrac ability to drop her torque to prevent wheel slip thanks terry
Years ago i went to an event whereby they had an officail world record attempt of having the most tractors worknig in the same field at any one time ,, and they broke the record, cant remember how many it was though now ,..will have to look it up..
how does the fastrac pull in comparison to the fendt.. ie Engine management and overall power we have a few 828's and 2 936 fendts but also have a 8330 fastrac and used to have a 4220 but got rid of it as it couldn't handle our implements how do your fasttrac for pulling
Central Iowa Farmer that’s the point more grip in a furrow that on the land looks at the tyres less build up on the pair sat in the furrow but still more wheel slip.Having driven both machines the jcb isn’t a patch on fendt JCB only make good diggers
Lovely to see 2 tractors in one field but its a bit of a waste. would be far more productive if they were in separate fields not getting in each others way all the time.
The fendt has the plough set for on land so pulls the plough from on top of land where as the jcb plough is a in furrow ploug which pulls plough from previous furrow left in ground.
Hellp George! I want to buy tractor 220 250 hp and I m thinking about fendt and jcb what do you think? Which tractor is better? Greetings from poland :)
Is there any reason that you're driving whith handthrottle on both tractors and regulate the speed manually? What's your oppinion on TMS for fieldwork? Do you try to "protect" the CVT transmission that way? I think that TMS sometimes regulates a bit too much in the field?! ;-) Greets from central Germany! Keep it up, George!
Hi, TMS in the Fendt and the cruise control in the Fastrac both operate very well most of the time. They do tend to come unstuck slightly when you get major changes in draft load, the transmissions tend to bog down a bit and you can lose momentum. Hence sometimes we run them more like a powershift transmission with fixed revs.
@@GeorgeSaunders Thank you! I really think that's a good way of doing draft work with a CVT! Especially when ploughing in 90° angle to the tramlines as you did! Thereby you can maintain the speed and prevent the transmission from over regulating under varying loads! Sounds absolutely logical! ;-)
It's a bit strange having you filming while your fazzy is rolling up and down the field 😂 😂 she looked like she was definitely on top of the job... All I need to do now is prove a mog can do the same and better than the fazzy 😉😂
Sarı yiğit dönüşünde belli.
Fendt rahatlığın barındırıyor.❤❤❤❤

Great vid George the fast trac pulls the plough well both them tractors look fantastic 👍👍👍🚜
Thanks for that George, thank you for putting in the time and then sharing, always good to see. BTW, looked a bit sticky out there.
Great video George! Nice plough with Fentd & Fastrac!!!
Fantastic vid George brilliant to see them working together 👍
Used to plough on my 3230 with a 5 furrow Vogel and noot plough managed perfectly .
Like to see on top plough on the fastrac make her grunt for sure !
love your vids george, constantly re watch your videos great stuff
Great video George you should do a video with the fendt, fastrac and the TW25 all plouging together
Great stuff love the quality of your vids George don't stop 😉
Nice soft tyres, good coverage. I'd say a great job there.
Great vid George. Keep up the excellent work..
It's great when u upload often, great video
a great demo for sure surprised you don't' get stuck in all that mud!
Yet again a super video with regards the fastrac.
Very very great to see this!
Cheers Jan, hope you are well 👍
Yes .. little bit of flu, but everything else ok ;-)
I can't stop watching tractor videos since I started playing fs19 😁😂.
Very impressive young man!
Yes!!! Fastrac's are good a field work! Finally, someone agrees! Spot on mate!
I've been saying it for years!
What amazes me is how those tractors can handle the weight of those 6 furrow rollover ploughs. We tend to run semi mounted ploughs here in Canada, particularly once you go bigger than 4 furrows

Another great video!
Great machines! But wasn't it way to wet?
Really good video there George, noticed the fendt was scrabblin a bit, wuda bin interestin to have seen it ploughin in the furrow as well 🤔
Another great video George, quick question is the plough on the Fendt set up evenly? when you look at the pair of discs one seems to have more paint worn away than the other, (like its going deeper)

Love the video George like the tractors to .
Me n my kids love your videos keep it going fella
Cheers Kevin 👍
Got an old 1135 fastrac, they are OK in the field too. Just people are always slating them. They're proven quality tractors
George, a very good video, if only to demonstrate it is far too wet, particularly the JCB running in the furrow, there is a real risk of long term soil structure damage. I guess I am on my own on this statement though.

This fastrac is very cool!!!
Great video love it
I'd like to see the JCB on land ploughing in the mud as the Fendt does.
Good video, I see the auto steering is not being used, is it tricky to set up with two machines working? Initially I thought the headlands would be time consuming, you seem to have it worked out.
great video George, looks like you had a nice breakfast at scald end farm ;)
Great vid George. What year is your fastrac
Awesome video!
very good video like :)
Very nice again George 👌
Thank you for the video
Very good video George 👍
My one gripe with the on-land setup is how the land wheel runs in the tractor wheelings. If she’s spinning, your then as a consequence ploughing deeper, which could create more spinning and so on...
I had noticed that Hywel, it's a bit of an Achilles heel, could do with the landwheel being further forward.
George Saunders yes like on the lemken. lets you get closer to the hedge too!
Little wet I see great video.
looking good.
That kv on the fendt looks a tight lift, no bother to the JCB it's taking it with ease, a bit heavy looking out there, and a great bit of video footage George 👍
Great vid George.
Great video, George! Were you using GPS? If so is there a way to "explain" to it that is has to skip every other row. I would think with 2 tractors it would get confused. Or, is there some kind of tandem ploughing mode?
The fendt sounds fantastic...that engine doesnt seem to be forced to hard
Great video George. How long did it take to do the whole field?
Love the Fendt 724
Both coped well with the greasy top
Amazing vid
Fastrac is good but love the fendt, got two old fastrac on a farm near me, forever under the hood on them in the yard
Nice pruning
walnuts ( Junglans Regia)
^_^
That land looks rather wet great vid
Would be interesting to know the fuel consumption between the 2!
Great vid 👍
Got to say both the fendt and fast trac look well on the ploughs
Nice to see fields left a while before ploughing. Good for the wildlife.
What wheel slip percentage george as the fent seem yo have more, was it because you had more traction, being in the furrow or fastrac ability to drop her torque to prevent wheel slip
thanks terry
Great vid George looks good kit a little sticky 🤔what crop going in???
Hi George!
Very nice video!
How come you got to buy Kverneland?
I am curious since I am a Överum guy born and raised near the factory:)
Whos driving what? George ? Great video
That fendt is sum job
Hi George, what dictates wheather the tractor runs on top or in the furrow ? Is it 2 different types of plough or driver preference ?
Thanks Martyn
It's the different plough, the one that's on top can also plough in furrow though if the driver wants to.
Nice video George how long has that land been fallow ?
Years ago i went to an event whereby they had an officail world record attempt of having the most tractors worknig in the same field at any one time ,, and they broke the record, cant remember how many it was though now ,..will have to look it up..
Is that bog land it looks like it's after raining fairly wet could match up your front furrow a bit better .
Should swap the ploughs round see how the fastrac pulls it
No different to the one it's pulling, they are both 6 furrow ploughs with the same boards, both set at 14 inches
My ploughing outfit is a t7 270 and a 722
how does the fastrac pull in comparison to the fendt.. ie Engine management and overall power we have a few 828's and 2 936 fendts but also have a 8330 fastrac and used to have a 4220 but got rid of it as it couldn't handle our implements how do your fasttrac for pulling
As you can see from the video the 4220 pulls as well as the 724, all our implements are matched to the the tractors.
ahh very interesting
Wonder who's cleaning the sludge of them ay
Is it me or does the jcb have more wheel slip than the fendt????
Was thinking the same thing myself
Central Iowa Farmer that’s the point more grip in a furrow that on the land looks at the tyres less build up on the pair sat in the furrow but still more wheel slip.Having driven both machines the jcb isn’t a patch on fendt JCB only make good diggers
Are you running that JCB on delayed steering with that Plow ?
Yes
Why does the JCB drop a wheel into the rut but the Fendt doesn't ?
Seems pretty muddy ?
Nice
Does it mater what way to plough the field
No, so long as you try to avoid turning the soil down hill.
Expensive clod makers
Could you one day show us the collection of machinery you please
Nice 1 cheers George
Lovely to see 2 tractors in one field but its a bit of a waste. would be far more productive if they were in separate fields not getting in each others way all the time.
So, does this Fastrac have a Sisu engine in it, George?
George is the best
👍🏻🚜
Why do they never start on 2 ends of the field not really effective waiting?
We ran them together just for the benefit of the video
You needed put fastrac on other plough to compare it. On how well it pulled to fendt. Nd looks wet to be left to plough this time year
Why
Why wasnt the fendet following in the groove but fast track was?
The fendt has the plough set for on land so pulls the plough from on top of land where as the jcb plough is a in furrow ploug which pulls plough from previous furrow left in ground.
Why does it look like the plough on the fendt isnt in the groung properly,..
why is the Fastrac driving in the furrow when the fendt is not,??
Fendt 👍
Hellp George! I want to buy tractor 220 250 hp and I m thinking about fendt and jcb what do you think? Which tractor is better? Greetings from poland :)
If they turned right at the end of each furrow you wouldnt get the blank triangle on the end of each pass,..
Is there any reason that you're driving whith handthrottle on both tractors and regulate the speed manually?
What's your oppinion on TMS for fieldwork?
Do you try to "protect" the CVT transmission that way?
I think that TMS sometimes regulates a bit too much in the field?! ;-)

@@MrSchlueterbaer precisely! When they are on something like the Horsch Joker they run in TMS very well 👍
Its how people think tractors dont slip and slide the do on this video that ground looks raver slipy
This is the George of the jungle correct
Not very good for spares though for the older ones
It's a bit strange having you filming while your fazzy is rolling up and down the field 😂 😂 she looked like she was definitely on top of the job... All I need to do now is prove a mog can do the same and better than the fazzy 😉😂
George il jcb andrebbe gommato con gomme più larghe per aumentare il tiro
Deano 0303 I think George has pinched your video but not as good 😉😂😂
