I love this young woman so much. She is everything that's right about the world.

So Kylie Jenner, an inexplicably famous socialite gets over a million views and thousands of comments in a video whre she puts on makeup in the bathroom with 2 friends. Simone Biles hardly breaks 8 thousand views and 14 comments after 2 months. What the hell is wrong with people? The world is absurd, stupid and backwards.
Simone Biles is the greatest athlete of all time, in the most difficult sport in the world, and not by default, but by hard work and incredible merit. Not by being born in privilege to another famous-for-no-good-reason parent, but by beating overwhelming odds.
And then we wonder why space aliens don't land on Earth. We have a looong way to go.

It is what it is really. Some people are lucky and born into fame. Others have to earn and pave their way. It's not really a choice to be born to a famous family or a normal family.
And I would hold that thought on the greatest athlete of all time.She is very talented and I respect her. But you can't really call her the greatest athlete of all time after she has only participated in only 1 Olympic Games. She has a long way to go. Now a guy like Michael Phelps, who has participated in 4 Olympic Games and has earned 23 gold medals, is worthy of being called one of the greatest athletes of all time. Like I said Simone has a long way to go and is still really young. Also in my opinion, there is no single greatest athlete of all time. There are plenty of athletes who are considered the greatest of all time in there respective sport and sports in general.
I think it also has to do with the level of difficulty and discipline required of gymnastics compared to other sports. Not that I don't admire athletes like Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt. I absolutely do. It's just that the types of moves executed by gymnasts require a combination of skills, bravery and perseverence that most of us can only dream of having. So in my view they really are the ultimate athletes. There is also a short window of time in which they can compete, so it's unlikely that they would ever be able to participate in more than two olympics events. It's a subjective thing of course and if you admire Michael Phelps the most that's cool too.
