My wife and I saw him last night (4/23/22) in Charlotte and it was absolutely amazing. I’ve seen him 5 times and been to more than 50 concerts but he is as good anyone out there.
Was it the same show as this ? Or did he change it up ? I'm seeing him in November

Thanks for posting this. My husband and I saw him this past Saturday March 12 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. I love the in between song banter. It was my fourth time seeing Billy and I noticed he talked more than the previous times, it seems like he did even more of it at this show! What a great show. We were in the extreme nosebleed upper stage left seats in about 40 degree windy weather - worth every minute! The crowd included all ages, from way older than me, to my generation (I'm coming up on 58), to 40's, 30's, 20 something couples on dates, to families with young children and teenagers in tow who were embracing their parents and singing along to every every word. What a gift to us who have loved him all of these years. He's a huge part of the soundtrack of my life.

I go to a concert and i focus 100 percent on the show, the performance -- i don't gab with friends on and on, i am not on my cell phone, i do not film the show, i do not distract myself - i immerse myself in the experience, i am not running out for a beer every other song -- and yet when i go to concerts this is what goes on around me

I was there! Best Billy Joel concert I've seen. (But I've only seen 7) Bought tickets and drove up from Phoenix at the very last minute, got into town about half an hour before the doors opened.
No worries, many people arrived last minute, but I was the first person there

The crowd seems so quiet! I was there the night before for Metallica and I understand it's a different crowd but I thought he would get a huge roar at 3:07. Props to him though. He played twice the songs Metallica did.

Extremely tough for an iPhone to pickup the audio for a stadium show or even arenas. I’ve been to concerts where the place was rocking but when I watched the CZcams clips the place sounds quiet

Billy Joel’s concert wasn’t twice as long though because Metallica’s songs are longer on average. His concert was still longer than Metallica

Dear Mr. Joel; As one of the few Americans who've performed in Moscow, any chance you could do a take on CZcams of "All About Soul" for the Ukrainians of MARIUPOL? There's a lot more to this than the same number of syllables in title, and it was released later than your Russian concert. The people of Mariupol embody this tune & they could probably use this sentiment. Thanks for your consideration.

Just a heads up, the audio is quite out of sync
Only in some parts, and that's because the jumbo tron is delayed, but it's not towards the end
@@lapieces That is a factor but the jumbo tron doesn't become out of sync for over 4 seconds from the stage. The only reason I know is cause the lights at the beginning of movin out don't come on until they start playing the song after Billy's count down
@@jhguitar2000 then explain why it's not like that towards the end? All I did was point and shoot. Maybe I can cut it up and fix it, but it will mess up the algorithm. Not that CZcams is paying for it, anyway. There is nothing I done that could do that, so if it's a technical problem then it's not my fault
