- One of America's finest singers, Jane Morgan, pays tribute to one of France's greatest singers, Edith Piaf, with a medley of songs made famous by the French diva. The backup chorus for MS Morgan is The Doodletown Pipers, who toured with Jane at one point in her career.
Jane Morgan was and is one of the most talented, gracious, elegant, and sweetest singer God ever put on this planet. I had the blessing of meeting her twice. She was my idol and still remains my inspiration. God bless this special angel on the earth.

My mother was from France and loved Edith Piaf, and had records she would play of her songs...this is dedicated to Edith Piaf and my dear mother Germaine Marguerite Sire.
This was from Jane's 1969 tv special. It was magnificent then and remains so.
She began her recording career with Roger Williams. I sang with Roger Williams at the Carter Center in 2004. He said I could sing for him anytime. She inspired me.
