Appreciated the review of a variety of cases. I have both a dBrand Grip and Spigen Thin Fit case on order. Thank you
Great video! Getting the Mous one soon.
Never thought of putting the dbrand skin OVER magsafe ring. thats a great idea thanks.
I'm happy to help!
In my opinion, the Bellyroy leather case is the best case for the Pixel 7 series.
Hazel color + Bellroy Black leather Case 🔥
you're the best case reviewer on CZcams bro hope your channel blows up because you deserve more views
I appreciate your positive review my friend! I’ll definitely keep going till I get there.
The otterbox defender pro is the case ive always used. Its always horribly scratched the edge of the phone . With this video though, think im getting the mous!
Why did the sides of the mous case appear to be identical to that of the DBrand grip case?
I don't speak English, but where did the rhinoshield shells go in your test? why not test them. I used Spigen's thin fit without magasafe and solidsiut
Is the lip in the sides of the Otterbox Defender elevated enough to protect the phone with a screen protector? I'm using a cheap chinese case right now because I've checked several cases and they all fail in that point. In my last two pixels I used Otterbox Symmetry but I think it's one of those that fail in the sides. You said that you're using a screen protector and it seems that the lip is good enough but please confirm. Great video, thanks!
Just a little higher.
Have you tried the Peak Design case? Also has built-in magsafe, similar to the Mous.
I haven't tried that one yet. Have you tried it and if so how do you like it? Also, thanks for the heads up.
Would you sell that later case???
Try ghost teck looks like a otter box but very different and I seen a metal case to I love the metal case but it's a little bit of a hassle to put on
if you wanted to make the otter box magsafe, do u put the kit on the outside of the case? inside? or on the phone?
On the outside. That is if you can get it to stick. There might be a problem with that. You might get lucky and if you place the MagSafe ring on the inside of the rubber part of the case. The rubber might be thin enough to allow a fairly decent magnetic hold. I highly doubt it though.
I have the Symmetry and I have say it's aweful. It's protective for sure but it collects scratches, dust, and worst of all have the least responsive feeling buttons. Sometimes I can't tell if a input was register at all or not.
Yes, I must say though. The black version of the Symmetry is super nice. Just don’t know if it’s available for this phone at the moment. 1-31-2023
Another channel said they had to file the front of the Otterbox Defender to make their screen protector fit. Otterbox usually makes great cases but I feel they dropped the ball on this one, there are other cases that fit with screen protectors just fine. (Encased for example) It is fine and their warranty system is pretty good, about the only reason to get a case from them at this point.
I dissagee, you gotta have a otterbox. Only case that will touch my phone right now. On cheaper phones, it's cool to cheap out on the price. But not on high ends
What's the name of the magsafe ring on the thin fit case? Do you recommend that one? I love the thin fit case!
Sinjimoru. They are available on Amazon
I made the mistake of purchasing a brand new MOUS carbon fiber case for my pixel 6 pro 37 days ago, only to turn around and purchase the pixel 7 pro today. Looks like they only accept returns within a 30-day window, so I'm screwed. I was even considering taking an exacto knife to one of my many Pixel 6 pro cases, in the hopes of making one work on the pixel 7 pro. Anyways, I was rather let down by the carbon fiber mous case that I purchased for my Pixel 6 pro, because it was nowhere near as nice as the translucent mous case I bought for my iphone 14 pro Max. That case left me spoiled.
Any OtterBox case with rubber just sucks. I've had several defender cases in the past that began stretching and hanging off the plastic after not even a year. I also had a few symmetry or commuter cases, and the rubber on those also started to deteriorate after only 6ish months. Sticking with UAG and Peak Design going forward.
Is the video every so slightly out of focus? I feel like I was watching something without glasses if I had bad eyesight.
The best cases made in my honest opinion are the ones created by Ghostek. I have used and tried so many cases and the Ghostek cases offer the best protection out of all of them. They slide in and out of the pocket easily they're super grippy and I have dropped my phone many times in this case from many different heights and my phone is perfectly fine. I'm surprised that you didn't include Ghostek.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience
Encased case doesn’t charge well at all as it will say charging and then stop. I woke up with less power as it stopped. I wouldn’t recommend it.
The later case is absolutely useless other than to add a magnet to your phone which you can easily buy separately and stick to a case. The top and bottom of your phone is well as the entire screen is exposed with a snap-on case like that. I don't get the point
Thanks for sharing your thoughts
How about Caseology Athlex?
Please let me know if you have used this case.
@@SomethingMobile Yes, I like it. The back seems to protect the lenses and air pockets in the corners seem to offer some drop protection. It has enough of a lip to keep the phone from laying on its face.
The worst thing about the Mous case for Pixel 7 Pro is the buttons at the side. It's so difficult to actually feel / find the button, particularly the power button. They should have made them more pronounced.
Oh god I thought I was the only one, that's the reason I sold mine
Totally agree, not sure what they were thinking when they made these cases....
BRAH SCREEN PROTECTORS??
Dude. Yes, next time. So you know. I’m using the Whitestone dome glass in this video.
Not sure of these selection! Try some Amazing cases @ Amazon
Please make a brand and model suggestion.
Magsafe? You mean magnets
The waffle House has found its new host
Haha. Is that good or bad? Just asking so I can improve. Thanks friend.
I just spent way too much time, trying to figure out “the waffle house has found its new host.” Five minutes actually to be exact. I have come to the conclusion after finding several articles explaining. All that means is nonsense. It’s a nonsense comment. It’s a meme. Actually, it’s almost not even a meme. It’s not based on anything that has occurred necessarily. It started from a CZcamsr that asked its followers to leave comments in other social platforms as well as CZcams using this phrase. So there you go. You are welcome to whoever’s reading this.
@@SomethingMobile oh no I'm extremely sorry yea it is a meme from some random channel and I loved the video jus wanted to say that it dosent actually mean anything bad instead it's actually like when you want to say something is nice when this meme is used
