Beginners Guide To Harvesting Yarrow And Yarrow Growing Tips

The yarrow has been blooming for a little while now and it is harvesting time!! In this video I will be showing how to harvest your yarrow and what to look for to pick your yarrow in it's prime blooming time. In addition to clean pruning shears you will want a nice clean fresh bucket of water to store your flowers in an you will want to remove any foliage that will be below the water. I will also be talking about how to grow yarrow plants.

I just planted some summer pastel yarrow I grew from seed. In my area we have wild white yarrow growing. Do I have to worry about them cross pollenating? Have you ever experienced that? Thanks for another great video!

I'm growing that variety this year too! We have the wild white yarrow growing too and it appears to mostly be staying white but we are getting a few with blush pink tones but that could just be the genetics changing on their own. Sometimes white will get blush pink tones in it all on their own. You're welcome! Thank you!
