A video I put together consisting of the songs "Son Of The Morning" and "The Finisher" from the new Oh, Sleeper album. Placing these two songs back to back helps to play out the epic battle between God and Satan described in the song. The first song, "Son Of The Morning", re-enacts the original rebellion of Satan against God, and ultimately his fall from his place in heaven. The second song, "The Finisher", relates the thoughts of God regarding the final moments before He destroys Satan forever.
I realize that there are pentagrams and other demonic imagery used in this video, however I felt that it would be fitting to the theme and would convey the message of the massive struggle between good and evil. I also felt that it would fit along with the imagery used on the new Oh, Sleeper album cover. I hope none of the Christians who watch this video are offended by it - Hudba
This touched me. I feel like I haven't been right with God, and watching this really helped me, thank you.

To all who think that God is evil, you couldn't have it more backwards. For Jesus, led captivity captive. He used the cross to show your face for what sin does to you and me. You didn't see that he would make it a throne. You sought to destroy his name, not realizing you were implanting imperishably into my heart and millions elsewhere.
You threw him outside the city gates to die, not realizing you were lifting up the gates of the universe for the king of glory to come in.
You thought you had God with his back to the wall, forgetting it was God who sought you out. God didn't conquer in spite of the dark mystery of evil, Jesus conquered THROUGH it.

First of all, this was one of the coolest videos I've ever seen:) Nicely done! It's really nice to hear the contrast between God and Satan back to back. I needed this a lot! :)
Second, this comments section is just sad. Sure, I'm only a teenager, but this makes me scared of the future of this world. Also, you Christians, I'm with most of you and what you say because I've heard the scripture to back it up. Those you're arguing against have not. Throw in some Revelation or a Gospel in your arguments. You might get somewhere:)

I love this video, I have shared it with so many of my friends. I love the artwork you use to back up the lyrics of the songs. It is so powerful. I cannot get enough of it. I study the book of Revelation and end times prophecy a lot and have lead a bible study going through Revelation. I want to use this video as an opening to any future bible studies or teaching I do on end times. It is incredible.

I love music like this because it puts so many truths in Scripture that are spread out and sometimes lost in the text into a powerful, emotional, dynamic, compact song to illustrate the might of God. His holiness and justice will utterly destroy Satan forever in hell, and that serpent will be the chief prisoner of the lake of fire. Whatever he does now is merely humoring God because of his pathetic attempts to thwart the plans of the Most High.

Emotion, to me, is one of our greatest strengths, when expressed correctly, and being moved by the words and the grace of God is the greatest emotional feeling to have, because for the most part, you're feeling inspired and loved by Him. I should tell you, I have a dream of being part of a Christian Metalcore band myself. I've even started writing some lyrics (only one full song so far), and when I think deeply on those lyrics, it really makes me wanna cry, even break down. This was EPIC! The video was awesome and the lyrics are BRILLIANT. I don't pay much attention to religion nor the Duality between the deities of Good and Evil, but this is truly a wonderful piece to admire!
Concerning the technical parts of the song, the riffs are excellent and the voice fits perfectly! Maybe something could be done about the fact the the scream-style is a bit repetitive but it works great with the music! It shows a very fine and refined, and rarely seen, musicianship! Congrats

Also, the Bible says "Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings." 1 Peter 5:8-9. We don't need to sneer at or taunt the devil, but we do need to be aware of him and trust in God to help us resist Him.
