- This is a video about the pencils and pencils that I've been writing with in April 2022. This month I was mostly using fountain pens, looking deeply into a small number of pens (really variants on the same pen). These included:
- Wing Sung 3010: ebay.us/gErwfK
- Platinum Preppy: amzn.to/3vltKxf
- Platinum Cool / Balance: amzn.to/3KmBx2f
- Platinum Prefounte: amzn.to/3viTPgs
- Sharpie Pen: amzn.to/3LpyZS3

At 50k subs you should show your whole collection... very interested in knowing how you store all of these
I look forward to this notification every month.
Me too!!
Yep. Me too.
Jetpens actually did a video writing with a preppy after a year, it did great still, the ink was just a little darker on the first few lines
Still working my way through your videos in 2024 !
Enjoying your commentary very much !
I love these videos. They are like survey courses into different pens versus individual reviews.
I only have one of the Wing Sunga like that. I have had luck with so many of their pen, but the one like that was surprisingly and irritatingly scratchy.
I’ve been using the bic Cristal soft this month. I love it
Per the Lamy Studio, I have the exact pen. The EF nib seems to be somewhat of an 'architect' grind, thin vertical and wide horizontal strokes. Of course, a 'stub' is just the opposite. One of my all-time favorite fountain pens with a nice heft and well balanced posted. And the clip adds a unique design flair. Just goes to show that 'beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.'
love this channel
My Lamy 2K EF is like that too. I liken it to a mini-architect-grind-ish. After doing a little bit of research, I found other people with the same consensus. I don't know why it's not talked about more, took me for a surprise when I used mine for the first time. However the general opinion is that this kind of grind seems exclusive to the EF gold nib.
I never imaged I would see a 16 minute video about a guy saying what pens he uses. but I like it.
Thanks for stopping by
Just ordered some of the ohto Fude ball rollerball pens. I hope it's the same thing as the Saiten, looks like fun. Also got the .7 ceramic refill for my ohto Liberty.
Yea the Ohto Fude is the 1.5mm pen I couldn't remember. That one seems less smooth than this one, more like a ballpoint, but I need to test them side by side
The Platinum Cool is a great pen.
Oh damn! Any pen that can handle Baystate Blue is a beast! You need to make a separate video for that ink bro!
In the works. Need to test more
Great video's man, keep them coming!
Thanks, will do!
Thank you for these monthly reviews!
Do you have one pen, that you use on a daily basis?
Yes there are some pens I always use. Like the Jetstream sport.
Thanks for upload sal, I’m not the biggest fan of sharpie pen .. bought a pack in college and was not impressed
Nice pen lot. I got so many starter ballpoints from your recommendations (F-701, Acro 300, Parker G2 refills, etc). Thanks for that 👍
Now speaking of the Wingsung, i just got a 3008 to test if i would like FPs. It's having issues the same as yours. It will write well for a paragraph, then the stoke on letter t doesn't appear, then the letter s lacks a section, then whole words aren't inked down. I might've been unlucky with my purchase, and I'm thinking if i should tinker with the nib or just throw it away.
For now, I got a Kakuno and Preppy on their way to me. Hope they work better this time.
Great vid as always! I've gobbled up so many of your videos it's ridiculous. I'm starting to hide from my wife coz i fear she might think I'm going crazy 😂
Thanks for the comment! Love the kakuno as well.
@@unsharpen Kakuno arrived already. It's really nice for a beginner like me. Fixed the Wingsung also. Now both pens write great. Kakuno takes the point because it works great out of the box. Thanks again and keep up the good work 👍
Ahhh.. that time of the month again…
Please can you do a video on pens you recommend for exam season?
try this czcams.com/video/7s01bQaHF-I/video.html
Do the Wing Sung FP's take cartridges?
Yes, they do. I've been testing to see which work best.
Nice🗿👍🏻
I always wonder, what do you do on a daily basis that you write so much? I can barely remember when was the last time I used a pen around the house 🤦
Can u review smart camera pen?
Pls reply man
But thanks for supporting
1. Gorgeous Parker Ciselé. [CEASE-LAY if you want to sound French]
2. Welcome to the Baystate Blue Club. Any stains theoretically removable with dilute bleach.
Thanks for the tip with the blue removal. I’m sure it’ll come up soon!
Lefties are rare but u are though
Does anyone realize that he always says so”

I noticed that a long time ago and for some reason it always makes me grin. It’s like we are listening to a friend just pick up where we left off. 😊
Like I always say, "No duh".
Could you please make a new fidget spinner review?
Any recommendations on how is making good ones
