About I Dream Of Jeannie: Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman star in this classic ‘60s comedy about a genie and her master. When astronaut Tony Nelson is forced to crash-land on a remote Pacific island, he finds a strange bottle that's washed ashore. When he opens it, out pops a genie named Jeannie. Not only does she get him back to civilization safely, she also smuggles herself aboard the rescue plane. Jeannie becomes Tony's constant companion. But though she happily grants his every wish, she causes more than her fair share of trouble.

"I feel it's only fair to warn you that this job requires quite a bit of night work." "Oooh. I'm quite used to that, Captain." LOL
Larry Hagman could do comedy and drama equally well, so talented. And so dammmm gorgeous 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Amen! 🙏
I didn’t realize back then how Tony is so adorable! 😍
AGREED
Tony!! 😘😘😘
Marvelous photo of Barbara Eden as Jeannie at the close of these videos (the one with her finger on her cheek). GORGEOUS
Those breathy goodbyes are hilarious.
Jeannie was irresistible!
Larry Hagman was awesome.
Jeannie was always so much more beautiful than any of his secretaries - that poor girl never realized that she had no need to ever be jealous. ))
a woman can be the most beautiful woman in the world and she'll still get jealous of another woman
Tony had already told her countless times that he couldn’t marry her because she’s a Genie, a whisp of smoke, so Jeannie always took that in mind every time he even talked to a girl. If he wouldn’t marry Jeannie because she’s a Genie then he would marry a mortal, is what would go through Jeannie’s mind each time.
The women in this show were super hot.
Straight up classy women .. how times have changed ☹️
Nothing like 60s babes.
Bring back the beehive hairdo.
sticks rail in beehive
If they were to bring it back I wouldn't wear it😊
Tony's new secretary is so hot, when she walks into the room, you hear jazz.
Sexy jazz is the sound made by a hot chick's pheromones. ;-D
She is Definitely and at 1:29 has a Lovely smile too
Musical scores such as this were often perfect on this show.
I miss Larry Hagman a lot! When he was young he was so handsome
So is Bill Daily.

I couldn't agree more. Not to mention a brilliant actor and so funny. 😍
"G.I. Jeannie" {October 16, 1965}.
That's called Fraternization.
I don't know. Jeannie is the best but I couldn't handle seeing her 24/7.
That's right tony, go ahead and FLIRT with your attractive secretary while your REALITY WARPING girlfriend is nearby.😑
I'd take the reality warping girlfriend any day especially if she is as much of a sweetheart as Jeanie is.
@@BlackangelKatakuri Agreed.
@@pacershark452 Plus with her power she can change her appearance anytime and will never age .
Yeah he is a fucking slave to this entity lol why hasn't he asked her to help her grab Russian codes etc?
@@AckzaTV Yes and YES!
Any Feminist who says they HATE this show hasn't WATCHED it!
Barbara Eden, solid 10
I wish to watch full episodes of jeanie
NOT ''corporal!'' Depending on the time in USAF history, either an Airman First Class, or Senior Airman. There was also a period from 1968 - 1997 when 3 stripes with a visible star was a Sergeant , also known as a ""Buck Sergeant''. The rank she has would today be ''Senior Airman"".
correct. I noticed that too after I stopped drooling.
I noticed that as well.
William Davenport, who wrote this episode, apparently didn't know the identification of the rank of "WACS". Yet, the U.S. Air Force let this one slide without correcting creator/producer Sidney Sheldon about the error.
Always great!
No one compares to Barbara Eden, no one.
Oh i love this show is very funny jeannye
She calls herself by the rank of army corporal when she is wearing the rank of airforce airman first class. Lol cute though!
Eileen O' Neill (Cpl. Burns) had a recurring role as Sgt. Ames on 2 seasons of Burke's Law, fwiw.
Ok Jeannie now just blink your self out of here and go back home so why is Tony trying to walk her out of the office?! Just blink !!
Ok never mind I see that Jeannie can blink again !
Maybe Jeannie's presence just stresses Tony so much that he forgets about the djinni magic, consider that this is the start of the show and he still tries to take this all in.
Today Corporal Burns could probably be charged with sexual harassment, or at least inappropriate behavior.
And it just occurred to me that they could have made a few more episodes with Jeannie in the air force, no telling what the writers could have come up with, but I'll be it would have been really good.
Someone should have told the actress that corporals say "sir" when talking to Captains.
1:30, I'm quite used to that, Captain........gush-gush. Tony: Corporal Burns, could you stay late for some extra dictation? We'll have some take-out delivered so we don't miss a stroke, er, I mean paragraph.
Ok, so the secretary is pretty hot, but when you stack her up against Barbara Eden, it's not a race.
No where even close!
Put that secretary in Jeannie’s costume and you’d quickly change your mind .
@@Earthtime3978 Nah, Barbara Eden has got that hands down.
@@jonathanrayne You obviously haven't seen Eileen O'Neil in a bikini... or a one piece....or any slinky clothes. Makes Eden look like a dog!
@@Earthtime3978 Lol, I'm an animal lover.

@@idreamofjeannieTV thank you.
A Captain has a secretary?
That there's a three striper. Back then they'd call her a Sr. Airman. Not a corporal. But what the hell would Hollywood know about real life.
On this show they call a cover a "hat".
3 stripes is also a buck Sargent
@@angellisa2614 that is correct but the color of the star in the middle indicates senior airman. They discontinued the rank of Sergeant a few years ago. Now it goes from senior airman to staff sergeant. But, back in the mid-60s, there was no such thing as Corporal
Best they never get it correct. I once had a guy claiming to be active duty try to friend me on FB, but was wearing a JROTC uniform.. hella no!!
@@geraldinegranado3386 maybe he needed some help...
What season is it and what chapter? Please
G.E.N.I.E. General Extraterrestrial Near Interdimensional Entity
😂
That's how the sexual revolution in the 60's made it to the straight world (not hippie style).
4:14 He was probably going to say VIETNAM.
Oh you’d make a great WAF!
1:31................ Naughty thoughts.
.... yes.... I can imagine why man won t to see how jealous women are in this situation....
when the Secretary says.... : "nightwork.... Oh ... I m quite used to it...Captain"
oh...!!
I don t wonna see my girlfriend.....
no.....
yes, I won t see it..... right now
Wow..Whats the name of THAT actress? Yum !
Eileen O'Neill.
That woman was so beaitiful...damn.
Eileen was previously a regular on "BURKE'S LAW", and occasionally appeared as Dick Smothers' girlfriend "Wanda" on "THE SMOTHERS BROTHERS SHOW" (1965-'66). She later turned up again in the 1967 episode "A Secretary Is Not A Toy" [as another potential secretary Jeannie also dispatches elsewhere].
What, What a pretty babe!
Major Anthony Nelson doesn't realize he has a good woman on his side🤔🤔🤔😋😋😋
I thought she was a snob and I saw the original episode Jeannie had that woman sent to North Africa and this woman is trying to mix pleasure before business so I'm glad they sent corporal Burnes packing
Corpral Burnes looks so fake around Tony
A very distracting aid.
the most gorgeous brunette
Was this based on a true story?
Yes. Captain Anthony Nelson was in charge of the faked Apollo Moon landings, which were accomplished with the aid of his genie.
Yeah, that part about the 'night work ' was real.
@@bernardoconnor1502 😂
Ok , I'm gonna clear it up for all you in the
Comment section .
iiiiiiii ' ll just take those two stunners and , make a me sandwich , how about cha ?
They screwed up her rank. Back then she would have been Airman First Class Cushing.
Jenny Dreem: Tony secretary; muy eficiente.....karina4ever/la hija del Altisimo✡🕎🖒🌎❤😇🖒
JR
Why not colorize this... its way better colorized because we had real color photos so its like we can deep fake better color than real color film anyway lol
1:55 Very hush hush…mmmmm
She is not a corporal but a senior airman
The first TV show I watched was this one in 1970 in Brasil - at the time in Brasil we thought America was this nice . . . Then we moved to NYC, it was like being in Brasil again - just NYC was much more violent . . . It seems desegregation destroyed a once nice safe America - compared to the 1950's . . .
👋🇧🇷🇵🇹
I'm sorry you were treated that way, Jay.
@@fromthesidelines Appreciate the kind words Barry . . . Yes NYC back in 1970's was a horrible place - movies like Death Wish & Dirty Harry based on that violence . . . At the time I was 10 years old and knew the mantra "beauty of diversity" was a complete lie !! Used to dumb down w people . . .
Same type of rhetoric used in last days of Rhodesia, Uganda, Angola, Mozambique, South Africa . . . The lie implies that a all b government will make life better but the reality like in Africa is the complete opposite - w & b ended up suffering after the fall of w governments - same results in American cities like Detroit, Baltimore . . .
We build it - they destroy it . . .
I've always been jealous of w that went to school during segregation - very very lucky people . . .

One of the later - Planet of the Apes movies was based on the 1992 LA riots - that once the - you know who - control the streets, safe society is doomed . . .

wow - this is so misogynistic....a woman military would never act like that -- ahh Old tv....classic.......
@Jim McCracken a woman in the...
"Corporal Lola Burns" is obviously a "man chaser". Jeannie gives her another chance to pursue some other Air Force officer by manipulating her into being transferred to "Lucas Air Base" in North Africa at the end of the episode.
Um, no. There is no hatred of women in the episode. Please learn the definition of that stupid word before using it.
No, it's not. Do you even know the meaning of the word?
