I think it would be cool if they let us play those old acts from the xmas demo. Like unlockable bonus levels or something. I don't think their bad, and they would be pretty neat to include them to show how the game evolved from them.
@@SwordfighterRedwhich I love. Old arcade games are super fun and probably better than most modern games mainly because people nowadays only care about story and graphics. Thank god for indie game developers.
Spectern i feel like you should make unique costumes for Pepperman and Vigilante since they may be getting update/and mods have added them to play as and it would be pretty cool if you did that
I hate to burst your bubble, man, but I'm not making those costumes into a mod. I'd have to individually edit over 3000 sprites for both Peppino and the Noise each, and I'd have to do it 25 times for each costume. I don't have that kind of time, nor do I have any desire to do it. You can consider my videos and sprites as concepts that anyone crazy enough to turn it into a full mod can start from.
I did say this in the video, but the devs sent me the demo early so I could make a video on it! We planned it out so this video went live right as the kickstarter did!

This game seems to be heavily inspired by Pizza Tower.
And that one Touch screen mini game in Super Mario 64 DS were you sort out bombs.
i think one of the acts in level 1 is literally named after that minigame lol
Maybe in art style, but that's about it. It's more like one of those old arcade games.

Ngl, shorter double jump doesn't feel good and I really don't like using the backflip, it feels really unintuitive
