Since the legalization of medical marijuana in the state 8 years ago, Oklahoma's farmland has become a hot commodity for those looking to grow cannabis, with a significant number of these buyers being foreign investors, primarily from China.
Oklahoma, once celebrated for its picturesque landscapes and fertile fields, has sustained generations of farmers with income and provided Americans with essential food.
However, the Oklahoma fields of green are now a sought-after real estate commodity, generating interest from around the world.

If I was a governor of such a state, i would have a law passed declaring all such land sales null & void and the land would return to the state for sale at auction for legitimate use.

Don't over think it. It's one thing to buy land, it's a whole different thing to actually produce anything off of it. There are numerous factors in successful farming. 😏
Not sure if you are familiar with how marijuana is grown, but its not done on open land. Its in greenhouses under climate-controlled conditions in specialty-formulated soils or hydroponic systems to maximize yields in as short a time period as possible. Usually a crop gets harvested every 90 days. Don't ask me how I know.
