…. Regarding your question, when you add a videocapture source, the effects will be applied TO THE SOURCE. So all scenes will have it applied.
….What you can do is add TWO videosources, both attached to the same webcam, apply the effect in one and not the other.

for those who are wondering, this also works as an alternative to streamfx blur in obs 29, you can apply this filter to sources that arent webcams if you turn the blur setting up

This works great! I have been looking for something like this for almost two years. I tried software that I didn’t like and then even got a green screen. I used it for a while but in the end, I didn’t like how it looked. Just turned my desk around so there’s a wall and I put some stuff up so it’s not blank. Been rolling with that for a while now. Hi Enrico, thanks for sharing this video, very helpful. I am using a Sony cam also, but when I connect it to my Mac in OBS via USB streaming by using the cable that came with the camera, there's a lagging, the picture is like half second delay. If you know how to fix this, could you please tell me?

you can use the advanced scene switcher to turn off filters on a per scene basis. I did this with the rounded corners filter. When I switch from my regular scene to the fullscreen webcam scene, it automatically turns off that filter. You can use a feature in advanced scene switcher to time exactly when it turns it off, so it seemlessly turns off when my screen is obscured by my stinger transition

This plug in rockets GPU usage to 60% even with your webcam off and the blur filter is not being applied. Doesn't make sense since the plug in gives you the option to pick how many CPU threads will be used by the plug in. Threads do not equal GPU function.

Don't know why, installed tried the plugin, camera goes black, moving the settings gets a flicker perhaps 1 frame per second and then deactivating the filter makes my camera turn green where deactivating it and reactivating it is the way to get the camera back to normal sucks this did not work

Ok, I have to say, good thing that it is free and simple, BAD THING, it takes A LOT of CPU, I mean I have i9 10900K and from 3% cpu goes up to 70% and more often then not freezes my OBS while recording games, so I would say it's only good if you want to talk to the camera and nothing else.

Plugins are for OBS Studio, not for Streamlabs sorry. If you want more flexibility about what you can do and what plugins to install then I’d suggest you switching to OBS Studio
