  • Located just within a minute walk from Kyoto Station's Hachijo Exit, it is the building you see on the right side when you come out from the Hachijo Exit of the Shinkansen.Conveniently located near the bus and taxi terminals. Great for sightseeing and business!

      Hi Umesh! Thank you for watching my video and for giving such positive feedback. I really appreciate it. And yes, this hotel is ideal for touring around Kyoto. It is just across Kyoto station where you can catch both trains and buses. It is very convenient especially if you also want to go on daytrips outside of Kyoto.

    hai thank you for your video.. i already booked this hotel for september.. btw, at your video, there are microwave and iron, right? is it for free or we have to pay for rent? and is it allowed to refill our own bottle/foodcontainer with the free drink and free breakfast? and how about the breakfast, is muslim friendly?

    • @wheretonext1190
      @wheretonext1190  Před 2 dny

      Hi Amirna! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your queries, hotel guests can use the microwave oven and iron for free. For the iron, you just need to return it back after using. As for the free drinks, there are plastic cups available which you can bring back to your room. For the breakfast, I am not really sure if it is Muslim friendly, but I am sure you can find dishes there that you can eat. Unfortunately though, I don't think the hotel allows using personal food containers for refills.
      I hope I was able to answer your queries. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! I hope you are enjoying your day! :)

    Hi There, is there a one way JR Pass from Tokyo station to Kyoto Station? is it far to travel from Hotel Keihan to Gion? sorry if i asked too much, its going to be my first time travelling to Japan. thank you

      Hi Steven! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, if you are only travelling from Tokyo station to Kyoto station, you do not need a JR Pass. You can just go to any JR office located in major train stations like Tokyo station, and purchase a one way ticket there. A reserved ticket from Tokyo station to Kyoto station costs JPY14,170. You may also choose to buy a non-reserved ticket.
      As with Hotel Keihan to Gion, you can go to Kyoto station which is just across the hotel. Gion can be reached from Kyoto Station by bus number 206 (20 minutes). Get off at Gion bus stop. Alternatively, the closest train stations are Gion-Shijo Station on the Keihan Line and Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station on the Hankyu Line.
      I hope I was able to answer your query and help you in my own small way. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! Have fun in Japan! 😊

    The amenities that are available in the lobby are they free or do you have to pay

      Hi Minnie! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, yes, the amenities in hotel lobbies are free for hotel guests. These days, more and more hotels, especially business hotels, are switching to having their amenities easily accessible at the lobby instead of providing them inside the rooms. Guests can just get the amenities they need anytime and as often as they want during their stay in the hotel.
      I hope I was able to answer your query. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! Have a great day! 😊

      Hi Ann! Thank you for watching my video and for visiting my channel. With regards to your question, it actually depends on the room package you booked. Some plans offer rooms only without breakfast. But most packages offer rooms with breakfast. The room package we chose had daily breakfast and I must say that it was worth it. Tourists in particular can have a taste of several Japanese dishes which otherwise, they cannot just order from restaurants.
      I hope I was able to address your concern and help you in my own small way. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! Enjoy your travel! 😊

    Are you allowed to take your luggage to your room?

    • @wheretonext1190
      @wheretonext1190  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Hi G! Thank you for watching my video! With regards to your query, yes, hotels in Japan, like any other hotel, allows you to take your luggage in your room. The only possible exception maybe are some capsule hotels which provide lockers for big luggages. Otherwise, yes, you can definitely bring luggages inside the room.
      I hope I was able to answer your query. In case you haven't, I hope you can also consider subscribing to my channel for more useful travel videos. Thanks again! Enjoy your day! 😊
