I feel like Seungmin’s vocals aren’t really “flashy” or flamboyant, like it isn’t often that you hear him belting or doing long runs but his voice itself sounds so sweet and smooth and it’s SOO nice to listen to. I feel like ppl don’t appreciate his voice because he doesn’t focus as much on the high notes, runs, etc. but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a great vocalist. Seungmin’s voice still sounds amazing without him doing all that. I could listen to it all day.
The adlibs and runs usually get all the attention, but it's the support (and by 'support' I mean the lower tones, the harmonizers, etc) vocals that make the entire performance possible and Seungmin is gonna be that rock and anchor in the performance. (I'm not gonna say I'm looking forward to it - ballads/slow songs that are great for showing vocal techniques are 100% not my thing - but I know everyone's gonna do well.)
