Love how Ghost walked about the apt, and said his last goodbye. And right before he walks away from her doorstep, you see his facial expression change over to a brother on a mission with nothing to lose. Great acting.
Angela Valdez was the love of his life I wish that Angela wouldn't of died they both said once it was over that they would be together but sadly tommy egan didnt want that but technically tommy was trying to kill Ghost but Angela pushed him and took the bullet for him sadly didn't see that coming
The song hit perfect for this last scene. One relationship was strengthened and long time love came to an end by a tragic death. Theirs was the realest love on the show. Angie never folded and even took the bullet for her love. Can’t say that about any of the other women.
I never thought I would say this, but Angela was such a huge part of the show. It feels empty without her. ("I'm sorry Angie...") On another note, POWER has a slapping ass soundtrack. I've been hipped to numerous artists watching this show. This track is perfect for the end of this episode.
Ngl keisha really wasn't built for that life i feel like she had a bone to pick with Tasha and her only way of getting back at Tasha was to basically show her she can handle that life too which went wrong
Thank you for posting. I dont watch Power but I love this song and ALOT of people was referencing this scene under the Miguel's music video so I searched for it.
Folks think this show was about Ghost and Angie...This show was about Ghost and Tommy. Ghost never revealed who killed Angie. It was never about a woman. Ghost and Tommy were each other's ride or die.
I'm watching Power over and this scene got to me...again, because of this song. The song made this scene more poignant than ever imagined! Ghost grieved, mourned, and got his shit together in one swoop!
Nobody talks about how heartbroken tommy and ghost seem about ghost thinking he killed tommy or tommy knowing ghost just tried to kill him. They really were brothers.
I am glad to the video came with this song from the Starz Power. Wished that it could been the soundtrack. Only way I got to know this song was that it was playing because of this show.
Very in Vain Nd. GHOST was now in lust of what could have been he was trying his hardest to change and even though Tasha was a ride or die she didn't expect their Life to go any further than dealing drugs being only hood rich. He wanted more out of life and Angela always was his bigges cheerleader to follow his dreams and knew he could do whatever he put his mind and he wanted a new life but he had to many deamons in the way and he always was gonna need Tasha period
This was an good song Ghost and Tommy betrayed start but Ghost should never trick Tommy killing his own father he should let the Italian deal with Teresi
Ghost did not set Angela up. He was in love with her. He had Angela meet him back at the school because his lawyer Joe Proctor told him a female witness was willing to testify against him. Joe was insinuating that it was Angela (it wasn't) so he was questioning her about it. Tommy was there to kill Ghost, because he felt betrayed that Ghost had tricked him into killing his own father. Ghost was facing Angela (back to Tommy), so when Tommy was about to take the shot Angela looked up into the stairwell and saw Tommy about to kill Ghost. Angela shoved Ghost out of the way at the last second and took the bullet for him. She loved him to death, literally. Destroyed her life countless times for Jamie, and in the end died for him. He loved Angela because she loved him for him, and she pushed him to be a better man. Tasha wanted him to remain in the drug trade so she could continue to live lavishly. She never supported his dreams of going legit.
But why did Keisha not toss the hitta rite away. Tommy didn't catch "that's who IS on the gun"? Opposed to WAS on the gun. Kate was rite. Keisha loved Tommy fr but wasn't bout it. Tasha was rite too. Even tho Keisha would have ran and not tell, who knows how long

The music this was a DEEP episode IF JAMES COULD go back I KNOW HE WOULD HAVE DONE IT ALL DIFFERENTLY
In the end Tommy tried to save Ghost. They truly were brothers...
And nothing would ever change that

SO disappointing. The love of your life is dead and can't shed a single tear, truly sad Angie's death was in vain so save someone like him.
