Nicely done Kevin, the colour did vary slightly on the real ones ,the micro sol and set is good stuff the red when you use it ,once it's on don't muck about with the decal because it will damage it because it really softens it .when I did mine a while back I did sand the rivets Down a bit because thay did look to Sharpe like you mentioned. For US Navy planes, I’ve found that the best paint I’ve used was “Model master’s” Us navy Blue gray is the most accurate color.
