You just needed to show proof of a house so that your scam wasn’t exposed. So you bought the cheapest, most rundown, dilapidated house you could find. And imagine that the reason you bought such a crappy house is specifically so that you didn’t have to spend too much of the donation money that you scammed on it and also so that you could have the excuse that you don’t have the money to fix the house up and no one will be mad when you can’t turn it into the nice house that you promised people. THAT is Umar’s situation right now.

I watched that interview with Umar on the Godcast. I was a little disappointed with the Rhetoric from Jamar and Rah at first because Umar wasnt giving any revealing answers and when he got defensive..they STILL kept it cordial. I've donated to Umar a few years ago so my energy toward him would have been different, I realized that I was mentally using Jamar and Rah as a vessel for my own anger toward Umar and that was unfair. But Umar is the WORST type of brother..he plays the "crabs in the barrel" narrative when you dont agree with him..or press him, BUT then drops his cash app and pay pal. F Umar forever!!!

It was a lot more than 750K and who the hell pays gofundme, paypal and cashapp fees to fund raise for charity? Umar hasn't a clue what it cost the run a small school. For him to run it the way he wants and without any government grants his tuition would be so high that most of the kids he wants to reach would be unable to afford it. Umar has been online begging for funding for 8 or 9 years and in that time he has never had a job. I listened to Jamars first live with Umar. Jamar offered to put him in touch with father in law who is doing it already and Umar refused any help or guidance.
Dr Umar's character is keeping his school from getting built. His Arrogance has kept him from getting larger donations.
When umar told lord jamar, I don’t need your help because I have friends that have schools.
Next question should have been about the names of his friends and the schools that they run.

The best way to vet a guy like Umar is to ask for transparency. Especially, a break down of how much everything will cost from beginning to end. Real companies know this stuff because it allows them to stay on track. Also, his mouth is a problem. Haven't watched a lot of Lord Jamar's programs but really like what I've seen. He has a refreshing non bs approach towards getting at the truth. His offer to have his relative speak with Umar was telling. Who would not like to have someone with thirty years experience, building and fundraising while overseeing academics drop that experience on him. When Umar got defensive I knew he was trying to sidestep the truth Lord Jamar was surrounding him with.

Umar just recently pushed back the grand opening date to August 2025. No staff. No budget. Still getting donations and still misleading the people. Umar even said it out of his own mouth that nobody has donated. He even lied about renovations being done when there’s still a lot left tot fix in that school. Umar needs to just be honest and admit that he’s failed at opening this school. His ego ruined it
