Most underrated movie. Best score of all time. Reason is every single music is amazing, im not talking abt a particular track, but the whole movie has fire tracks.

I loved this movie when it came out and I am glad other people are discovering it years later. This is a great sequel, not to mention one of the best soundtracks ever.

The woman playing the grandmother in the opening scenes was Belinda J Montgomery, an actress who became popular in the 1970s, iirc, in a tv series called "The Man from Atlantis". Later she had a recurring cameo role in the tv series "Miami Vice" as Crockett's ex wife.
The ending of this movie always makes me hopeful for the future. That's so difficult these days. Thank you for reacting to this movie.
The popular electronic duo Daft Punk credit the original TRON as their inspiration for their style in music! So when this movie was Greenlighted they jumped at the chance to do the soundtrack for TRON Legacy. I recommend you two to watch the 1982 TRON
This is an amazing sequel to the original. It would make even more sense if you had seen the orginal movie, but happy you liked it.

The story of this movie is divided into TRON Evolution (video game) & TRON Uprising (animated series). Evolution happens right before the movie plot, Uprising is a story before Evolution begins. But this movie follow up from the original 1982 TRON.

Loved this review. This movie is actually part two and they made it stand on its own so you didn’t have to watch part one which came out in 1982. The original was very cutting edge for the time as far as special effects go. The original will always be a classic for me.
It seems so odd to me to watch this without having seen the original.
@bigdream_dreambig Good luck getting young kids interested in the original and thus reviving/extending the shelf life of Tron. This movie was huge for the IP.

One of my favorite movies of all time but the soundtrack is my all time favorite movie soundtrack.
The previous movie was unlike anything made before effects wise and and so was this one, even though the motion capture for Flynn wasn't the best I was blown away when I saw it. Loved the soundtrack from Daft Punk too. Some didn't like it as much, probably due to nostalgia which I get. Shame Disney keeps dragging it's feet on making another sequel.

I was a kid when the original "tron"movie came out.
The video game that came from this was amazing multiplayer. The disc fights, as well as the ones on troncycles were awesome. Some of the most fun i ever had playing a video game.
This was suppose to be the first of a trilogy. 😢

Hello Lia & Viki!😊 Really the only thing I didn't care for in this film was how they made Flynn a religious figure. Technically the CGI is very impressive. The story definitely suffers in places. But there is still a lot to enjoy here. Great reactions to the Tron sequel, Ladies!!!!🎬👏👏👏👏
What's not to like about it? It's natural human practice to make religious figures out of mortal men and women. This isn't new. It's the de facto mode for most religions on Earth. It's quite normal.

They turned Kevin Flynn into a hippy, and in the original he was _no_ hippy.
No, no, no, no! He is not in the future! He is INSIDE THE COMPUTER SYSTEM! That laser thing (from the first movie) turns things into digital versions inside the system, so we can see program, viruses, apps and other things as persons... or something like that... Thats why it calls "the grid" an arena for games like the snake game (motorcycles) just like the arcade games Kevin Flynn created in the real word... (sorry, i´m brazilliam and my english is lame)

The film that made a household name out of Joe Kosinski. He would go onto direct Tom Crusie in both the sci fi film "Oblivion" and then "Top Gun: Maverick."
In my opinion, he's amuch better visual director than Zack Snyder, Im just waiting for him to tackle a Marvel or DC film someday!

Tron Legacy is one of the most visually stimulating movies I've ever watched. I recommend watching it in 3D. It has a really good story which is easy to follow, with a great ending. Also, Tron Legacy has one of the best soundtracks ever.
