I listen to this Ajahn every night, he's really helped me understand a lot more. I listen to a few Ajahns but this one still is in touch with the layman and its this key that is the link as he studied the human who became a Buddha , not just the doctrine itself. Sadhu 🙏🏼

I really am drawn to Theravada, but don't know where to join a sangha focused on that line of study. Does Dharma Bum temple have an Theravada study groups? Ajaan Geoff is so great, but I drove way up to the monastery once and felt .... like I didn't know where to go for a sangha. Really enjoyed this video.

@@gabriellemurphy6330 As Ajahn Geoff says, the Buddhas teachings are necessarily counter-culture. We must persevere. It just makes me happy knowing there are others that also listen to the Ajahns and practice by themselves. I am here with you

      Dear Mr. Tud
After hearing you on youtube, you are meditation correctly and your experience is of no danger
      Below is my explaination:
Your mention your meditation experience arrived at no breathing,no body and stillness is you are entering jhanna.
As you have never experience such seperation of mind and body before it is very common for one to be shaken with fear.
On entering jhanna you will experience subtle breathing and gradually the breath disappear(please take note you do not stop breathing it is the mind that is detach from the body momentary when your meditation progress to enter jhanna.
When mind go seperate way during meditation, the body in this existence continue on breathing. It is similar to when you are in deep sleep and in dreams, your body continue to breath by itself while the mind go into its own realm.
So my advice is do not be afraid to experience mind states change in meditation. It will keep on changing as you continue mind meditation training and please expect such change as no breath, no body, joy, happy, pleasurable mental state, sudden quiet when evetything become sudden quiet and STILL.
Then expect one more thing, CEESATION of everything. No mind No body, No existence.
This is the entering into NIBANNA
If you need any guidance in your vipasanna meditation, please feel free to drop me a line to my email:

More explaination on why one meditation progress are temporary hindered :
When you meditation from hindrances takes you into calm state of samadhi /jhanna.
When one meditation is developed correctly, the mind begin to gets calm. When the calm gets calmer you begin to experience changes.
Due to this mental purification are progressing it will begin to change.
Due to inexperience and without sound knowledge of BUDDHA DHAMMA, one mental traning when about to enter purification mental state call jhana, one will upon enter will return due to mental state conflict.
Uncertainty, atta or self, Ignorance of nibbana, ignorance of mind exceed intelligence etc
This happen as one fear, doubt, fear of losing one self will all come togather.
In this way one meditation will stop here and cannot progress until one gets a good meditation teacher to explain the scenerio.
