@@Colyde25 I'm a native Houstonian. It's still a friendly city, but it's much less so than when I was growing up. 1 in 4 Houstonians was born in another country! Probably 2 in 4 from another state. Some people from other places are pretty closed mouth. That can make them seem really rude. Houstonians like to say that we're the biggest small town in America.

A real day in Houston looks like actually living in one of the Houston suburbs (Tomball, Cypress, Missouri City, Sugarland, ETCETERA...) but telling everyone you live in Houston because it’s easier to explain even though you really only go into town for Mexican food like once a week

What makes Houston different from the rest of Texas? The culture. They are the most diverse city in Texas.. and damn.. THE FOOD!
I grew up in Houston, but I live in a different Texan city now. Love it a LOT. So much diversity in Texas
Houston is such a huge hot spot for authentic food of all cultures- a lot of amazing chefs here. Definitely skip tex mex for a real taco truck or a place like tacos la balla! It is so diverse here, and I’ve never seen people love where they live as much as they do in Houston! Most of everyone is neighborly and willing to stop and chat! Real cowboy culture further out in the country is alive and well. I’d love to see you do a more in depth comparison of life in major U.S and European cities, much love, Houston
