I took a break from wow for a few patches and noticed people are using Crimson Tempest over Bone Spike now. The ability text shows Tempest doing more damage than Rupture but there are other benefits for using Rupture such as Venomous Wounds and Scent of Blood. Can you explain the general dps priorities for me? Obviously get Garrote up immediately and I *think* Rupture is the next priority after building combo points. So when do I use Tempest? It feels a bit clunky building points for Tempest after Rupture, especially since that might use up points that could go to Kidney.
Stealth Garrote > Rupture > normal Garrote regarding the main bleeds. Then, regarding Crimson Tempest you use it only if it hits enough targets to deal relevant damage on the players you hit (since the damage scales with how many targets you got, so, you wouldn't CT a single player, but you could CT a single player + 4 BM Hunter pets, for instance, or simply 3 players), but you also need to make sure that when you use CT you have enough Garrotes and Ruptures rolling so that you have very high energy, because Sanguine Blades will spend energy on CT and you don't want that to cause you to skip Sanguine Blade procs on your other bleeds, which are stronger -I don't know if I was very clear, if not I'll explain better, let me know)
@@Shadenox That makes perfect sense! Thank you! I'm pretty casual compared to you guys so I normally just do bgs but CT totally cooks people in big fights. Used to love dot specs like Shadow and Afflication but Assa is my favorite now.
Im so confused, can someone explain to me why he never uses deathmark?
Because there is an Evoker. It's better to not press the spell vs Evoker, because then he never dispels bleeds. If you use it, he will dispel everything so you end up with less bleeds than before using Deathmark, and he can use it a second time 1min later and still have it back for the next Deathmark.

You can play kind of whatever you like in random BGs. Mostly I go with my arena build to be fair
Hi me and my friend is playing some 2s as Assination/presservation and yeah dosent feel to good but could you shine some light on how to play it or is it just a real bad 2s comp? ^^ would it help to play outlaw instead?
I am not really in tune with the 2v2 meta right now, but I don't think Evoker Assa is that great of a comp. It lacks the damage Disc brings, and it lacks the healing & CC RDruid brings, so it's just some middle ground that gets overshadowed by Assa Disc in aggressive playstyle, and overshadowed by Assa RDruid in dampening playstyle. Outlaw Evoker used to be good, but I do think Assa is a better spec overall tight now, until you start q'ing into too many Survival Hunters.

Why is everyone running crimson tempest and not using it im confused why not choose something else for more dmg.
If you play my build, you'll find that if you remove the point in Crimson Tempest you basically can't pick anything else good. So, you pick it, and only use it when there are enough targets.

It deals the same if not more dmg than Mutilate on one single target, has a higher critical strike chance, and thanks to Seal Fate gives additional Combo Points on crits, so it can fill your entire CP bar with one press if you crit on enough targets. So, unless you'd break CC there is really no reason to use Mutilate these days.

Affli DoTs are stronger, you can kill healers easier with Kidney Coil, and you have dispel protection with UA.

use garotte SHIV then rupture then pop your kingsbane together with usetrink and shadowdance. you welcome
You need to only use it during your Shadow Dance, while the target has the Shiv debuff, and you have on-use trinket + thistle tea buffs (you can macro these two with Shadow Dance so you use all 3 at the same time, all 3 are 1min CD). If you make such a macro you just need to press Dance, Shiv, and Kingsbane. if it crits, it hits big.

Because there is a talent that increases agility when is up in targets.
So i didnt read that.
