      @@sinharishiratan5754 Electrical engineering upon discovery of semiconductors ,logic gates,transistors and electomagnetic spectrum and signal processing becomes too vast as a result a parallel branch i.e
      Electronics/communication is introduced to deal with low current and high frequency domain along with communication
      while
      Electrical engineering remain for High voltage and low frequency domain for production ,transmission and storage of electricity ...
      and as logical operations become too complex after discovery of advance electronics chip,memories and processors so to deal with logical operations ie programs Software engineering emerge...
      EE is grand mother of CSE

    • @rishisinha7046
      @rishisinha7046 Před 4 lety +3

      Yes that's why EE is the high tech core branch and mother of ECE, as an EE branch people can deal with low frequency low voltage analog signal processing, digital signal processing, semiconductors, communication systems as well as coding + the added advantage is they can also deal with High voltages and electrical machines which ECE and cs people cannot think about.

    • @rishisinha7046
      @rishisinha7046 Před 4 lety +3

      So ECE/ETC/EIE and CSE/IT are all derivatives of EEE.
      All the working domains of these branches are within the boundary area of electrical engineering.Without electrical engineering all these branches (derivatives) doesn't not exist.

      There is nothing that an Electronics Engineer cannot think of that an electrical engineer can...electric current principles formulas and concept are applied in each allied electrical branches i.e ECE,EIE,AEI,ICE,EEE,EE ...
      We all study vastly overlapping subjects and 4 years and 8 semester so no one is above any one every branch of engineering is special but it depends on individual Engineer how well he/she applies the concept in real world application.

    I opted engineering for gaining Knowledge and skills, not placements. Financial gain and security is always a byproduct, our focus should always be on self improvement. I am from ECE(Tier 3) but I am fond of subjects from CSE, EE, Mechanical and obviously ECE. It is because Engineering is so wonderful and there are so many things to learn (if you want to learn). But don't depend on others(Teachers/ college/ or someone) for your learning be self sufficient, learn from CZcams, MOOC, Books, etc.

    Do you really know anything about this topic? First of all stop using the word Tech companies for IT firms, even GE electrics, Texas Towers are technical, in IITs the T stands for Tech, so every company that hiring from an engineering institute is Technical. ECE is closely related to computer science more than electrical, ECE is basically the study of how computers are made. In my college (IIT Roorkee), ECE and CSE are so closely related that both department share same building. In IITs almost all the company that opens for CSE, also allow ECE students as well. Also stop encouraging people to learn core computer courses like OS for placements, one only require to know OOP and Data Structures for clearing placements round, instead encourage them to improve their competitive programming Ranks, learn skills like Web development, Android or Data Science. This will be more helpful in the interviews than knowledge of core computer courses.

      The reason why he judges the streams based upon placements is because, 99.9% of people who is opting for engineering is there because of the money it will provide. Not because they are interested in engineering. As my example, I had a choice between IT and ECE and I chose ECE because I liked it but almost every single classmate of mine took it because they didn't get CS or IT
