Whenever I get the chance to makeover a small space like this one for my manager, it always sparks so much creativity! From the DIY pinboard and the stunning FB marketplace sofa to the Desenio wall art, everything came together so beautifully! I'd say the biggest challenge was working around the whitewashed wood wall but this paint color really created the coziest vibe.

Yes! I was shocked by how nice it was! Marketplace where I'm from could *never*. Last listing I saw was for a "very lightly used" couch that was $600 and had lumpy cushions, bleach stains and huge rips in it lol.

Beautiful makeover ♥️ The little iron mask figure you put above the desk says “ΥΓΕΙΑ” which means “health” in Greek 🇬🇷 It’s actually the Ancient Greek goddess of health :)

Drew, your style is impeccable and so creative. The fact that you used thrifted items is one of your greatest assets as a designer. We all cannot get free items sent to our homes because we are influencers. You make designing accessible for many of us on a budget. Your final rooms are always inspirational and stunning. I have to say that you are by far the best designer on the internet. You don’t spend most of your videos doing infomercials for clothing and food. I am so tired of the Thredup and Hello Fresh infomercials that bloggers spend fifteen video minutes on. You always choose your products wisely. Your choice. of Desenio is spot on. The art is relevant, interesting and suits the space. Please do more room makeovers. We learn so much from you.

Years ago I bought my son's this desk at World Market and built them myself. My son is still using his now. He did not believe me when I showed him your video.

That little metallic masc you mentiond is the Greek goddess Υγεία - Hygeia witch means health.
So in the Greek mythology Υγεία is the goddess for health.

Love it! I know I have said it before, but please turn on the lights when you film the final reveals so that we can see how the lights glow in the room . Lighting can really make a space.

I‘m a little sad that every makeover is a variety of that spanish revival style that I‘m not into. I liked the before more that the after. I can see your talent, but I want to see different styles that make me want to be creative. Maybe you get the variety back on your channel and then I come back watching. Great job! The light fixture was an amazing find. The only thing I dislike is the large blue and white print, but that is just a personal preference. The pin board is a great idea. Always get some great ideas from this channel.

Helpful hint I learned when I sold a rug a few months ago. If you only have a car for transport, fold it down as small as possible instead of rolling it. We were able to get and 8 x 10 into the back seat of the buyer’s car this way.

One thing ive noticed, in America you tend to paint ceilings and skirting boards ( baseboards) the colour of the wall... here in the UK we tend to keep them white... i really like the way you guys do it ❤
