In all honesty, you just gotta learn how to do this yourself. Use a side mirror. Get good cutting using both hands and cutting using the side mirror. May take 30 mins or an hour but go slow. Use the comb as a ruler (biggest thing is people try to free hand those angles, or they cut too deep up in the "neck/underbeard" and they immediately lose all the weight. The precision is hard to do yourself, but the shape and cleanliness of the beard (which is what 99.999% of people only see) is totally doable at home. I'd rather have an 80% sharp cut at home than to go through years of failed barbers cutting my neckline too high, or taking all the weight from my patchy areas in one swipe. Should've spent those years learning to do it yourself rather than paying people to demoralize your spirit and ruin months of growth while you shop around for a barber. Your best beard barber is yourself.

Then it would be like “what the hell happened?” Patience, decent lighting and some mirrors. Anytime you want. And can keep things trimmed regularly. Yes, a bit to much off at times. But honestly, 5 times better than what the pros have done, and always improving.

The barber I went to was an idiot and he took off an inch as well as chopped off my edges. Now I have a circular beard. The idiot. Please, someone, make a vid for Toronto/GTA barbers.
This was more of a natural look. Some people like this, I prefer a little more of a sharper more muscular look, but if this is what he wants, then she did good.

Most Barbers here don't even know how to fine tune and shape the beard. They end up reducing volume so much that I have started doing it on my own.
