There's also the question that their mini status is most likely the result of a genetic defect that's being specifically bred for from a small (no pun intended) gene pool and there are probably going to be health concerns as a result.
The bigger problem then size. You don't house brake cows. They will poop amd pee any time any place and on anything Including people. Amd when the sleep they will just poop if needed. Great yard pets sure. House pet never.
You still need a mini farm though. They still produce mini cow plops 💩that are no less problematic indoors than you'd expect. This is even sillier than the past craze for allegedly miniature teacup pigs that grew to near-normal size.
@@busybusiness9121 Vegetarian diet versus carnivore. All quite irrelevant to the point that they're not ever going to be litterbox trained or trained to go only outdoors like a typical cat or dog. Cheers.
@@lem5959Add a zero to that and be ready to double it on the off chance. It's cattle - just bred to select for smaller size. Highlands are normally short and very stout if I recall. "Mini Highland Cow" which means "Baby Cow" cause they all turn large REALLY LARGE in fact. Just like mini pigs and teacups, they turn into 600 lb heffers.
Dumped? They are quite cute, but if it doesn't work out you could always humanely eat the little thing. But most likely they will get fostered and adopted. There is probably a return policy like with dogs from a breeder.
These absolutely should not be housed indoors like a dog. they still require the proper space needed to thrive, cows being social animals also need at least a companion to prevent depression
Very misleading video. This is like when breeders tried marketing "micro pigs" which were really just piglets that grew into normal sized, massive pigs that would end up getting abandoned by their owners. Whoever made this video should honestly be ashamed of themselves for trying to market a half tonne farm animal as a house pet. These animals do NOT make great pets, they're not low maintenance, they require A LOT of feed, and they can NOT live in small spaces, contrary to what's said in this video.
Being a farmer and breeder of Highland and herefordsf,ld love to know where I can purchase these pygmy Highland cows?? Hang on.....I smell bullshit here.
Be cautious of buying from a breeder that intentionally breeds animals to be different from what they normally are, or animals breeds that are known to have health issues because they are bred to look a certain way instead of bred to be strong and healthy. For example, Pug dogs and Persian cats are bred to have squashed faces, which is cruel because it makes it difficult for them to breathe, especially when hot or running around. Also, do not buy from breeders that surgically alter animals to look different, such as cutting certain dog breeds’ ears to make them look more scary or docking a horses tail (cutting off the tip of their tail bone).
Salut salut. Elles sont vraiment très très belles, ces p'tites vaches miniatures. Trop cool. Je les adore. Ça donne envie d'en avoir, si on avait plus de place. Lol. Merci à vous pour la vidéo. Vraiment très cool. Je vous aime ❤😊
The Amazing Paw channel seems to be concentrating mostly on animals bred to be pets that would be better off in the wild, or permanently out of the gene pool. My opinion only.
So freakin' ADORBS. "If you want one......'many breeders'. . . . yada yada.(I hate being the negative Nelly, but....anyone else cringe at the word "breeders"? Realize these are babies. Even a mini cow is too big to be a house pet! Sheesh!
There's also the question that their mini status is most likely the result of a genetic defect that's being specifically bred for from a small (no pun intended) gene pool and there are probably going to be health concerns as a result.
No question about it. Highly unstable genetics in mini or dwarf lines of animals. @@silverjohn6037

That was going to be my next question.
Most humans should never own one. These are life time commitments as any pet or other animal.
These are babies. They will get bigger. Do not get one for your apartment, it will not work out. Cute though!
You still need a mini farm though. They still produce mini cow plops 💩that are no less problematic indoors than you'd expect. This is even sillier than the past craze for allegedly miniature teacup pigs that grew to near-normal size.
Adorable ❤️
At least their poop don't smell as bad as
dog ones.

How big are these "mini" cow when they are fully adult? 30 kg. maybe?

Highland cows must be the cutest cow bread in the world.
Definitely ❤
Where are the horns? Highland cattle are known in part for their distinctively large horns. These must be babies that have not developed yet.
They are so cute😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️

I would love it but its not cheap you gotta have land with space and then getting one im sure a cute little cow cost thousands of dollars.
💚
Que bebes mas bellos .
Does anyone know how much the mini cows cost? Im talking just to get 1& not the daily expenses, thx
How very beautiful it's why iv become a veggie I'd rather see him run and play than the alternative
They are called “hairy cows” in Scotland.❤❤
可愛い❤️
How do they taste? Inquiring minds want to know.
Yeah and there are also miniature pigs, sure
Cudne piękne i słodkie ❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤
🥰
Ile kosztuje ten duży miły pies ❤❤❤
A lot of homeless mini pigs and next there’s gonna be a lot of homeless mini cows heartbreaking..💔
It will be the same as the mini pigs that grew up a d got too big and no one wanted them then
I wonder do they have the same problems as mini horses with their teeth being too big for their mouth
Is they give milk
Aren't these just calfs in the video?
🎉😮😢🎉😂❤ my
Shame they aren't here in India.

This is a calf. It’s not a cow CZcams is getting worse and worse.

No siriusley13 they are not babies and why do everyone keep them as pets uh you can keep them as pets
animals are not pets. they are not here for your entertainment.
Дурдом....люди сума посходили.....
These pets are so adorable. I would love to have a mini highland cow as a pet. 🐮
It would be a huge responsibility!!
🥰
These are baby cows, not adult cows. It's a scam, the same way teacup piglets are a scam. The piglet become much larger as adults.

"Animals are wonderful pets" not really you cant keep baby cobra as pet, or in this case cow as a pet. I look at them for meat or dairy.
I can also look at a dog the same way and I would be looked at as the devil himself by society. Meat is meat after all by your logic
Those look delicious. 😋😋😋
🤨
@@Amazing-Paw well it is a cattle so what do you expect people to say.
Ok. Ok. Need to work harder to make more money so I can buy a house with an acre….
I WANT TO ADOPT!
