- Trying to take the scary out of the basement and create a fun place for all of the toys to stay, I built a basement playhouse toy room that looks like a modern farmhouse tinyhouse.
The playhouse has little rooms for a doll/stuffed animal Nursery, Arts and Crafts room, Kitchen, Living Room and Reading nook under the stairs. I used shiplap for the house siding, trimmed in black, cedar and pine.

century 21 used to have a tiny full furnished house that the towed around to fairs. I used to love wandering around in it- and they gave you a tiny yellow jacket to wear too

I grew up in the 80s and had a wooden tiny house my dad built for me but only had 3 rooms, a living room, kitchen and bedroom and only 2 windows but very high ceilings that he could stand upright in. I loved it so much and my school friends would want to come over and play all the time. No way in this fancy scale but it was perfect. Amazing job on this tiny house

I don't need to be a kid to play in the tiny house! I'm a short person! Besides I need a home! And I have been wanting a tiny house for a long time! I just don't know how to get one. My imagination has been going wild about how I would design it. I've been an artist & crafts person every since I was young. My grandma thought me how to sew and use my imagination to use what ever I could find to make something out of nothing. So I would like to have a room just for my arts & crafts. Right now my daughter's think I should get rid of all that because they think it's taking up to much room. But that's the only one of 2 things that makes my life worth living. Oh well! I wish I could. I wish I could just make play houses, dog houses, tiny houses, sheds, basic furniture, repair/fix up/repurpose furniture, cat trees and catios, cat houses, and make jewelry for a living. Also write kids books and books.

Glad it’s not just me. Yes it’d be nice if I could stand up in there, so a bit bigger. But I always wanted one of these when I was younger but they were expensive to buy. I guess building would be a great way to get it cheaper.
