Brother the idea of secularism is about getting away from dogmas! What happened in china, Russia, were also because of dogmas! State should be separated from all kinds of Ideologies, whether it is communism or hindutva or shriat. Because I don’t want my society to think that it is okay to beat your wife as mentioned in Surah Nisa verse 34 or to think that they can have 4 wives or can keep londis.

Muslims want sharia law in their own country, but secularism in non-Muslim countries. Oppression on Hindus is increasing day by day in Pakistan. Never did these religious traders raise their voice for the protection of people of different opinion. Just like a parrot, Islam sings the religion of peace by heart. Buddhist-Jain-Confucian religions never sing that our religion is the religion of peace like Muslims. Only Muslims sing this. By the usage of Muslims one can understand whether they are really peaceful or non-violent.

No, Allama Iqbal did not denounce that he had not presented the Pakistan Resolution.
In fact, he was quite proud of the role he played in the creation of Pakistan. In a speech to the All India Muslim League in 1930, he said:
"The resolution that was presented yesterday is not only a resolution of the Muslim League, but it is also a resolution of the Muslims of India."
He also wrote several poems and articles in support of the Pakistan Movement. In his poem "Talaq" (Divorce), he wrote:
"O Muslims, awake! Your destiny is calling you.
It is time to break the chains of slavery and be free.
Pakistan is your homeland, and it is your right to rule it."
Iqbal's support for the Pakistan Movement was unwavering, and he never denounced the Pakistan Resolution.
However, there is some evidence that he was not entirely happy with the way the Pakistan Movement was unfolding. For example, in a letter to his friend Muhammad Ali Jinnah in 1937, he wrote:
"I am not satisfied with the way the Pakistan Movement is going. It is becoming too sectarian and dogmatic. We need to focus on the economic and social development of the Muslim community."
Despite his reservations, Iqbal continued to support the Pakistan Movement until his death in 1938. He is widely regarded as one of the founding fathers of Pakistan, and his legacy continues to inspire Pakistanis today.

Qaiser sir just nailed it by asking the question : If you don't have any example or working system of the post secularism and it's just a thought then how can you say that the system we believe in is problematic?
We have the example of the era where shariah existed and worked without any error and your post secularism didn't existed.

This was the debate between Rationality and emotionality. When was asked clear cut questions, she dogded them in a very cunning way. She became temperamental when was unable to answer. Although a good debate with facts, arguments and Qaiser Raja sahb can be seen calm throughout the debate even to the itching and passionate talk of Dr Mehrub. That thing makes him a good debater.
5:38 misinformation/correction:
Allama Iqbal passed away in 1938, where as Pakistan Resolution was passed in 1940. Did Iqbal give the statement on Pakistan Resolution from his grave?
It was not Lahore/Pakistan Resolution, but Allahabad address(1930). Additionally, one statement to the rulers(British Govt.) through 'The Times' does not represent Iqbalian Theory as a whole, thus the letter, which was sent to a repressive authority, falls short of recognizing the true narrative of Two Nation Theory.
Leaders may be examined on their personal views, which may have some inconsistencies; however, it is worth mentioning that the collective will of the people of Pakistan was truly a movement for an Islamic state.

Raja sb clearly evaded all the questions. Going through the comments section, it clearly shows how we still have a long way to go before analytically understanding any comment/debate which talks about Secularism (or anything which in its most basic level, challenges the abuse done in the name of religion in Pakistan). Hats off to TCM for this initiative though.

@@dhakacity6574Bro let me explain you in Islam it says that Sharia law is not applicable on non-muslims it's applicable only on Muslims so by saying we want Sharia law in all Muslim countries mean that only the Muslim population living in the country will have to follow Sharia law not other religions people and to deal with them there would be a separate law system based on their majority likes and opinions for example in Sharia law if someone steals his hand should be cut off as a punishment so if a Muslim will steal his hands will get cut off but if a non-muslim steals his hands will not be cut off rather there would be a different judiciary system for them made and based on their religion or their culture or their likes for example if a non-muslim steals he will get 3 years in prison etc, so Islamic Sharia has nothing bad to do for you instead it is good for you as it gives you ease economically too as in Sharia Law the Muslims every year have to pay 2.5% Zakat (charity tax) to the Islamic Government but Non-muslims have to Jizya Tax which is lower than Zakat tax I don't remember the percentage I guess it was 1.5% every year but it is less than what Muslims have to pay. You guys can live freely as you want in a Sharia law country if Sharia law is implemented 100%. You said Muslims want secularism in other countries but not in their countries it's not true we want either a separate law system that is Sharia law only for Muslim population and the majority follow their Religious law system or Secularism or if they don't give Sharia law for Muslim population than they give us at least secular system instead of their culture or religious system. Islam is a very peaceful religion if you follow and implement it 100%. Thank you ❤

The fact that Ahmed Raja just destroyed the attempt to degrade the Islamic system from Dr Awan is absolutely fantastic, the way he is tackling dr awan's behavior is what makes Dr Raja an absolutely fantastic.
Secondly, everytime Dr Awan speaks, she sounds so well, however, when Dr Raja speaks he just makes everything nullify dr awan says in a very polite, and realistic way.

a- Only a group of people from a certain religion have the right to rule the people, don't allow Christians, Hindus, Sikhs and other minority groups to hold the higher offices.
b- Take money (jaziya) from Christians, Hindus and other religious minorities because they are living in the country.

Sharia is perfect it doesn't need change but your post secularism will need change because it gives advantage to the rich and the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer.Capitalism is a product of secularism and not Islam.I ask Moiz how he will eradicate poverty when secularism steals from destitute and fills the stomach of affluents.Whereas Islam orders affluents to pay 2.5% of the wealth tax to the poor and no taxes are imposed on poor.In secularism,poor and middle class suffer the most and rich gets richer by evading the taxes.

Pakistan resolution passed in 1940 and Allam Iqbal died in 1938, Mehrub Moiz trying to convince that Allam Iqbal wrote a letter after the Pakistan Resolution passed i.e he wrote a letter 2 years after his death
