If one speaks with words, pictures and music, one is dealing with man and human beings (lovers). If one is dealing with beings who speak with numbers and worship greed...then one is dealing with Vampires. Avoid them like starships avoid black holes in space. Because invisibly we are organic starships. And like black holes in space, the vampires will suck the "vital forces" (light, warmth, love, joy, beauty and harmony) out of our lives the closer we orbit their heavy gravitational pull.
The issie with me is assurance of salvation which means I cant take comfort in verses because they dont apply if im not saved so then it gets me all messed up I just dont know how to know if im saved ive talked to many people and done tests on self etc and I just dont know im at a loss
Once you accept Jesus as your Lord and savior, you are automatically safe. Now the flesh may lead you to believe otherwise, that's when the word of God and the holy spirit comes in, open your heart for both to lead you. Read the word, have a one on one personal friendship with God, see him as your heavenly father, i believe change will come in the name of Jesus.

Learn to have a personal relationship with God, by reading the bible and praying, just know that God is your Heavenly father and your friend, he wants to hear from you, he wants you to know him on a one on one relationship, and he will do the rest.

I’ve been in the same boat you are, where Satan deliberately lies to me, tells me the gospel doesn’t apply to me, tells me that Jesus’ death was for everyone but me. But something I realized was that every time I search for how I could prove I was saved,every time I asked someone if they thought I was saved, constantly over-inspecting the fruit of my life, I realized those were all things that I was using to rely on myself. I was relying on myself and what I had done to prove my salvation. The truth is that JESUS is the source of the salvation. I have to remember and trust that JESUS is who he says he is. It’s not up to me or the fruits I produce. “Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” goes for ALL people. Not just saved people looking for assurance of salvation. Jesus’s death on the cross was a sacrifice that allowed us to trust God. If you trust that Jesus’s death and ressurection has washed away your sins, making you blameless before God, you are saved! Hallelujah! You can have peace in knowing that nothing you do or lack thereof will take you away from the love of God.
You were honest...but asa man of color, a brother in Christ...to hear you say" that's easy because I feel SUPERIOR TO THEM", and then fear witnessing to a well dressed woman....wow this is not easy to hear....
