this guy is so entertaining. and because i’m on the market for this exact kayak, i have watched every video on it and i keep coming back to this one because it’s such a good video
Thank you for the kind words! It is really nice to read comments like yours
Thanks for reviewing this. Bringing back to basics. This looks ideal for the kid who works a summer job who wants to dip into kayak fishing. Thinking about the future generation of the sport. Looking forward to the reviews.
That's right, gotta do more entry level content and make it appealing
I started out with a summer job and got a life time teton now 2 summers later I have traded my way up to a lure 11.5 and I'm about to put a motor guide xi3 on it and I think that this is somthing that we need more off in the kayak fishing community is more beginer friendly kayaks.
Alex, I practically have the same kayak, Lifetime Tamarack pro except the foot rests are not molded in.
I mounted a Yakattack quick disconnect on the compartment for the Garmin Striker 4 plus. The Nocqua 10h battery goes into compartment. Even with the cheap seat I can still be comfortable for 7-8 hrs on the water
I like it but going to upgrade to a Native Slayer propel 10 this fall.
hope you keep both! it is more fun with more kayaks
@@AliexFolgueira nope 😂, I also have cheap Lifetime Cruz 10ft sit in. Wife has a 12 ft Pelican sit in. It tracks better, catches more fish lol so wrong
Nice video! Shows how the kayak handles different conditions in detail.
I saw this kayak at Dick's today and it looked very cool and was on sale for 379.
I was looking to see if I can replace my tucktec folding kayak with this.
To be honest I was a little let down. It doesn't look to be much better than my folding one.
It seems not very stable when getting in or for standing. Also it gets quite shaky in waves😅. Storage is a little concerning for a fishing kyak too.
It might be good for a beginner kayak, but doesn't seem worth to upgrade over my current one.
i mean my man has his priorities straight. keeping things simple, and making time for his grandma, love it!!
thank you 😊
I wound up getting the Quest Endeavor. I was between these two kayaks. I previously had a Lifetime Tamarack and but opted for a sit in this time. The endeavor seems pretty good so far!
Why not have both? Haha
Gotta review the Lifetime Manta Angler now!
A good little throw and go kayak.
Simple is good. Do you think this will work in Ozello, FL?
As long as you go on calm days or hide from the winds in the islands and cuts like I did in this video
it is 479 dollars without tax and shipping. I can get a new crescent ultralight for like 700 most likely get a used one for 500. Would you rather have that boat or the ultralight for a boat to grab and go?
lots of great options, the primo is nice, i asked them to let me review some of their boats they didnt want to, came back with "we are busy right now" i said let me know when you are ready
@@AliexFolgueira you got a friend with a boat shop you can try anything you want or at least what he has that is not already bought.
@@lazerithlazerith4012 he usually doesn't carry crescent, I asked
Alex! I always love your reviews, do you think k you can review the new academy sports branded kayaks? Rotomolded and they have a pedal drive option for about 1250!
trying to
I’ve been waiting to see the Magellan PDL from academy on here. It’s a serious contender for me.
Good starter yak. Clearly you can fish from it and catch trophy cuda😉
My uncle was very happy with the cuda
That’s a good kayak
it is
Dude pulled his shirt from the bottom of the basket
What?
This thing looks like the perfect kayak for some easy but useful DIY content... Grab some pad eyes and bungee and show us what youd add or change. You know DIY content gets views! Like early Marty zoffinger videos.
thats a great idea!
Rudder and bixpy and you good to go
thats the plan
flimsy clip on for the seat, once it goes, that' sit.
yeah they need work, but also it is not expensive
Nice cuda
i added a bit of 50# leader and boom
Kayak with no drive, NOPE !
Must be lazy
@@huckfin1100 whats wrong with arm drive? 😆
