Appreciate the breakdown. As someone looking to purchase, it's good to know what actual pricing for true usability is like. The all in one nature of this is something I'm quite interested in. I love my rigs, but I'm tired of rigging, if that makes any sense LOLZ
Thanks for the video. You still happy with your purchase? I’m purchasing the 4d 8k in May. To get all of the accessories, extra batteries, lenses…I will be dropping 19k. My largest camera purchase by far.
also you forgot the "flex" kit and backpack, so this can go mobile, aka with the head (gimble) off, and on handles, and the "brain" in the backpack, to get the weight part off your hands; or opt for an armour man style rig, to support the weight.
I would say yes! They just launched the new Ronin 4d 8k version so they are putting effort into this technology. I plan on using mine for years even when I do upgrade, especially for specialized shots.

Can you use custom fast ssd instead?
So I plan on buying this camera this year, not that I need it. It’s just a desire that I have. Would you say this camera is future proof?

I am not sure. That isn't in my area of expertise but let me look into it, that would be awesome if it could.
