- I decided to take a break from CZcams. Also, this last month I changed my whole life. Let me tell you my story and give you some context on what's happening behind the scenes.

I have a motovlog channel too Kseniia, nowhere close to as many subs as you have, but there are still a few who like to watch my videos too. Last year I had the same kind of feelings, and wondered if I should take a break, or maybe even stop completely making the videos.
Then I took another trip and this time without any cameras. I found that while I was out there, I didn't feel like I was free'd. I felt like I was missing something. I felt... alone.
After getting back I noticed quite an outpouring of support from the few that do watch, every one of them disappointed that I stopped filming, but still supported my decision.
My channel even continued to pick up subs when I stopped. And I realized that it wasn't for the money, or the subs, or any sort of self glorification of being a youtuber, it was just the sheer fun of filming my adventures, using my creativity, and sharing it with others that was what I was really enjoying. And I missed that.
I too have a "day" job and my income comes exclusively from that, so like you, I film these videos in my spare time and they are not a source of income or a career.
I tell you all this because if you are anything like me, you will come to realize why you film the videos too, and I wouldn't be surprised to see you posting new content sooner than you think.

Being a content creator on CZcams is a grind. Especially if you are creating travel videos. The amount of work to create these videos likely exceeded the work you were doing as an engineer. I don't blame you for wanting to take a break. Its really hard to sustain a weekly output. Get a mental, emotional, physical and spiritual reset on your break. It appears you have the right mind set going forward. Good luck.
@Ksenia. I love that you post about the medical issues we have in South America . I worked with Doctors Without Borders and they are such an amazing team of medical staff. These people need us so badly and these people are dying from simple cures, but have no access to basic healthcare. Please everyone if you can donate to Doctors Without Borders, please do!

Kseniia, l think you atract goodness because you a pretty decent person. Your decision to meditate is very good specially since you feel the need. You seemed to be a very intelligent and creative person and l am sure somethimg good will come out of this break, it seems like the next chapter will be you flying airplanes, well just kidding, take care.

I can’t even imagine the issues you’re having in Russia. Mt step brother visited Moscow and told me it was beautiful, yet very unsettling. Love that plane guy... don't worry, we won't disclose your secret location. I don't even ride a motorcycle, I just thought you had a fun, quirky personality & enjoyed traveling along on your adventures. I hope you find what you're looking for in the forest. Also, if Sasquatch is real, he definitely lives in WA or OR.... those woods are old, kinda creepy & have a very eerie feeling about them. Beware large, barred owls.

Good decision. Focus on yourself and if you need some spiritual guidance... mezcal will always help.
[By the way... I'm almost 50 yo, have a wonderful family and a good career, I'm a professor now... and still making A LOT of poor decisions, mistakes and not thought through choices! You never learn to avoid that, just to take it with humour].

Dear Ksenia, just when I found your channel you are leaving! :) lesson learnt: "pay attention around you, stop and smell the roses" blink and you miss it !! I think is a great step, I am all for mental health, have tremendous respect for any YT video as I have attempted a few and it is a time consuming effort, imagine one every week whilst riding in Mexico (it is a foreign country, NO! it is Mexico!) anyway all the best Ksenia, I will leave the sub hoping to see a little update here and there, hasta luego amiga, life doesn't start until you are 60!! just keep eating fruit and vegetables :) nothing in measure, try everything in excess (kidding) stay safe.....

If you take a look at Itchy Boots, Charlie Sinewan and TheMissendenFlyer, they handle there online adventure very well, because they love what they are doing and have a great life out of it. I have seen a lot of your videos, and it has been a fact for me for a long time, that this video you have postet here now, would come. Sorry to say, It shined out of you that you where very tired of it all and that you have lost the momentum for your audience from the previous videos. Life is not a race, it is a journey-a unique and personal one for each individual. We are all on different paths, with diverse experiences, talents, and aspirations. Instead of fixating on the finish line, we should focus on the progress we make, the lessons we learn, and the growth we achieve. I think you have done the right thing for you. Take care.
