You are missed, come back, Ichiban Moto! #BadAss
Hope to see you upload again soon, I still check back every so often, hope all is good!
yes, thank you. More videos to come
@@IchibanMoto Badass 🙃
@@IchibanMoto oh you live :) im happy... we waiting for a new video :) it is still posible?
Wondered where you'd gotten to Mr Ichiban so I decided to visit and educate myself on the spring rebuild, but I was blown-away by your hand-held customised drill-bit cum buffer and with a couple of turns it was as good as new which was amazing! I see you haven't lost your touch : )
Your stickers which must be over 10 years old and still decorate my suitcase which makes my case easy to spot on airport carousels, just returned from the Balearic Islands (Mallorca) and as my case approached me in Edinburgh airport on the carousel a guy further down the line pointed and shouted Badass!
I miss some badassness
We need more of this
Just came back to see if there was new content too
Take a look at Allen Millyard, he use the same equipment but get different results. czcams.com/channels/j4hbNBjmdvXONmcxcLSNhg.html
yes. a lot of behind the scenes going on
is this Badass still alive, or did covid claim him?
@@williedutoit466 still alive 👍
Sir David Attenborough is the voice of Nature at BBC, Ichiban Moto is the voice of Motorcycle Workmanship at CZcams!! BAD ASS 😁
I narrated "on any other sunday" a film by Hoxton Moto . He did an awesome job and it won best short film at the Portland Motorcycle Film Festival. check it out @hoxtonmoto youtube channel
Can't believe I've only just found this channel. Absolute gold mine of information. Bought a vintage hand drill, some assembly tape, learnt how to cut perfect circles in anything, threw out all the wrong loctite I'd be using and my power drills as well. Looking forward to making some real progress now. BTW, I could be wrong but I think you only sent Ant four stickers, no biggie ;-)
welcome in ! i will send ant more stickers
The "Dislikes" to this video are from shop mechanics that are losing money thanks to these bad-ass do-it-yourself videos :)
and the pride it doing yourself is priceless !
that's probably why youtube removed the dislike count
@@IchibanMoto hey! Hope all is well! Going through withdrawals here need a new video haha ✌🏻🇨🇦
Torque is set when the pencil breaks, but it must be a no.2 pencil !
Un-leaded ! 😉
@@jakmak1199 Hate to be that, guy, but all pencils are unleaded now. They are graphite.
That's why it's called pencil strength!
Hey man, Is everything alright? It's been a year since you uploaded.
ichiban man is way too badass to answer that
We're missing him and need his videos more than ever.
Thank you for returning Mr Ichiban...we love you and all your expert advice, all the way from South Africa!
thanks for watching and sharing !
I think Ichiban was the guy who did all the maintenance on the '78 XL125 I bought from the 15 year old kid down the street. BAD ASS. 👍
So glad to hear you are still making videos. I really miss your parodies. You give us all the opportunity to laugh, and that is a great gift. I hope you are well Brother. Have a merry Christmas.
thank you and a happy new year too!
The best thing about your videos, is that youtube now recommends me 'legit' motorcycle repair videos. Thinking about the youtube algotrithm recognizing your videos as legit repair videos makes my day.
Now you know why we are scared to death that AIs might take over the world.
Miss your videos bud
YES! Its like an old highschool friend just showed up on my doorstep! Missed ya buddy! 😆
Oh man, I coulda used this a month ago... I messed up so bad... at least I got the high schoolers down the road to fix mine for me. 😁 Glad to have ya back!
took me a few seconds before I realized it was a joke ! Well done !
Good stuff, thank you sir! You always offer to us amateur mechanics a wealth of mechanical badasserie !
I was told by a another pro mechanic that they've started using CBD oil especially in the older type of dampers. It's supposed to make the ride much smoother, almost tranquil like.
i will give that a try !
Far out, man.
Yaaay!! Ichiban-San is back !!
Have already liked this video, now looking forward to watching it !
OMG i just saw you subscribed to me which makes me SO HAPPY because I have been subscribed to you and watching your videos for literal YEARS. (5 years at least). Your videos helped me in the process of building my first bike-- ducati monster 750. Thank you for all you do!!
You are so badass awesome!
Badass! I've just rebuilt the twin damper bias rotary shockulator on my 88 ZX-10 using your helpful guide. Rides like a rodeo bull on tramadol now!
I'm glad you're back!
Just asking my buddy where you had got to - and here you are back again! More golden advice :) The tank mount grommet used as the new seal was delightful!
Truly Badass Badassnes!!!!! I’m shocked this video didn’t get published in spring.
Welcome back master you've been missed ❤️
Wooo! Yes my man is back once again!
Great video with clear and calm instruction. You have provided me with the ingredients and comfortable confidence to undergo the same overhaul of my Yamaha Virago XV750 rear shock absorbers. All part of my full restoration. Thank you sir.
I'm Sick and Tired of these CZcams videos Where Everyone knows EVERYTHING..... That's Why I come Here to ICHIBAN.... This Guy is the most informative and Honest. He Puts All the other Motorcycle Channels to Shame...Even HARLEY DAVIDSON.....The one thing that has really helped me the most and I couldn't find any Information anywhere was on POLARITY GREASE.... My Volt Range has jumped up Considerably and the Power my Produces is just unbelievable....Take my Word on it.
Ichy my project has been on hold 2 years, need more tutorials. In the words of your great leader "C'mon man!"
Back with another Bad ass video, thank you, your experience makes this look so easy! Off out to sort my Kamahonda 1100 cc single out this afternoon! You rock Ichiban!
great work! Will service my shocks tomorrow with the new skills learned!
I have learned so much from this channel. Thanks Ichiban Moto
thank you so much for watching and sharing !
Great video, as per factory spec, rebuilt my bandit hagon shock using this method but used cod liver oil instead, man it's like new again, saved me a fortune, thanks Itchi, we're not worthy.
Glad you're back. Missed the videos. Hope all is well
We miss you.
Thank you now I’ll rebuild my shocks tomorrow thanks for walking us through it
Ichiban Moto we miss you!!

Just came across this video and I have to agree with someone elses comment you are the David Attenborough narrator on motorcycles and very informative. I have now subscribed to your channel.
Welcome back mate good to see another video up.
i need to make more videos i'll send you a message about the knife giveaway video idea mk iv
This was not just bad ass, it was freakin bad ass awesome. You are so talented!
thanks watching mike !
COULD THIS BE APPLIED TO MY 93 COROLLA? IT HAS TAPE CASSETTE
i would think so
YOU HAVE TO make sure that you don't have the TOYOTA auto Cassette Dampers they are for cars with tape cassettE so there is not too much vibration and you have to use aluminum grade oil and spacer
You are a legend. Subscribed.
Baddd Assss. Great video. I got a 79 cb750 restoration project. I am gonna try this out. The tiny funnel was the best workshop tool I have ever seen. THANKS
Konnichiwa Ichiban ! Nice to see you back giving sound advice LOL
You did an awesome job on the rebuild! 👍
I love how Allen Millyard has your stickers in his workshop
Oh yes! so awesome. Allen wins shed engineer five out of five.. I have a badass autographed postcard from Allen . Framed of course.
Love Allen, his videos are so therapeutic, educational and badass!
the only relevant motorcycle channel. bless
Righto, thanks for the info, I'll give this a ago! Surprising the shocks on the bike I am working on either haven't started leaking, or have leaking what oil they had decades ago, I just needed to figure out how to disassemble so I can clean up the spring and shock body of rust. Thanks!
I missed you so much! Glad you are back!
love that word ''BADASS''
Ichiban tutorials are the best! Badass!
Lol Sometimes I struggle with whether or not you’re being serious, then I turn to ask Mike and he gives me the face that says, “are you seriously asking me this?” lol ❤️🤣
Well... you can use most of it.
Now decide on what you can use.
Serious ??? Are you serious ?
This is the best educational channel on CZcams. Ichiban has taught me everything I know about bikes !
Hahahaha I’m not the mechanically inclined person in the household.
@@LazyAHoleRanch these are100% tutorial vijayos excellent stuff

Yes! You’re back! ❤️
Or released early, whichever.
Awesome instructional video man, really loved the professional tools that you employed, they're fantastic quality items. 🤠👍👍👍
if you want some.. i have videos on them too
Flicking thru a Snap-off catalog yesterday and saw them in there, bit pricey though but worth it . Watch the Chinese knock them off.
I appreciate your humor, great video.
My shocks work like a charm. Thanks for the info
Ichiban, there is a serious need for your 5 out of 5 videos in a time of crisis like now!
I am sure that a new bad ass video from you will heal all the broken souls out there!
i will be making new videos when it warms up out in the shed
@@IchibanMoto badass
Hey great video man. It’s going to help me completely to get mine on my xv700 in better shape
I like how its never 5 stickers
I ordered five and got six 6 and a Nickeltown Customs sticker AND a hand signed certificate of Badassness .

Good to see you back. Badass!
Where have you been?
Miss you expert lessons!
I have been doing a lot of filming and am saving for a new computer and software to edit. i will also have to learn the new software
Bad ass! I need to do the shocks on my John Deere Cyclone. They too are the skookum black bodied, high pressure, nitrogen filled type. I was a little apprehensive until I saw this quick tutorial.
I have the cyclones 250 brother...the challenger. And YES...now I also can rebuild my shock absorbers as well.....I hope it will now handle better that it (“three wheeled shopping cart full of bowling balls going down hill”)
It handles now..
Great watching a master at work. Very Zen. Think I have the same Loctite in my stationery cupboard. It's the best.
Lol, this channel is bad ass!
I found your stuff looking at pipe wrap videos. Must be tired (that’s my story anyway) didn’t realize the parody until reading comments.
Good stuff 👍🏽

That was a bad ass rebuild!
Whoah! Welcome back dude!!! Kick-Ass video :D
Monty Python couldn’t have done a better job, love the screwdriver and buffer, LMBO!
Awesome video! I just had my shock rebuilt on my '19 strom 1000 and just under 2000 miles on it I have a bad oil leak. I did hit a curb when goofing off in a parking lot and bottomed it out. Could have have damaged my shock beyond repair or do you think it's just a seal? I curbed it before a 1200 mile round trip and discovered the leak when I got back.
Trade secrets galore, this is the channel Clymer and Haynes don't want us to know about ;)
woooo nice to see you back!
I also need a tiny funnel and oil can ❤️
ichiban, withall this wealth of pro information and you have cut down on our keen learning. i have to repack a kerker knowing it'd draw a bunch of mean comments from those busy sites of old'n us guys with unclear ways in which they did it 83 yrs ago. so first thing i went for was action channel ichiban moto. i got some shock leaks so bonus for me.
Hi David, congratulations for this well done video; it is well done. I am curios if there is a way to stretch out the shock and what are the pros and cons of doing it?
Dislikes gone, we need you back, man.
BAD ASS! (welcome back!)
So bad ass! Great work brother.
