It's been over two years. Did they really start selling this shrimp in stores since then? I find it difficult to believe that the meat industry would allow this to happen.

I don't believe this product has hit the market yet. The meat industry, indeed, is fighting hard against these various companies (Just, Inc.; Memphis Meats; New Harvest, etc.), and are attempting to introduce legislation to change the definition of the word "meat" to only apply to that which was 'harvested' via traditional slaughter, even if both a hamburger from a dead cow and a hamburger from a living cow are biologically identical.

@OG Buck #Hankblock i think it's farmers that are mainly pushing for the new legislation

One thing that i know is as thermodynamic first law stated “energy can’t be created or destroyed, it just change from one form to another”
To “grow up” this meat they need nutrients. And then the question is where that nutrients come from? Is it renewable?

Basically cloned meat and deficient of most nutrients except protein and the quality of that is questionable. Try it as pet food first for the next 10-20 year's n if they do well on it may be continued
