      Hey what’s up brotha, how’s that island life treating you? I’ve been on that Godzilla and Bride of Pinbot lately, my 2 latest acquisitions.

      @@Major_Drain Nice. You should do a quick Godzilla review. 😊 How's your pin repair acumen coming along?

      @Major_Drain  Před 2 lety +1

      @@808zhu I did a quick gameplay video on Godzilla already but I’m waiting for the next big code update to do a more in depth review, still really early in its development with many features yet to be added. I‘be been learning more about my virtual pin lately than fixing real pins…only cause nothing has broken down yet lol. I’m supposed to spend a day with my distributor breaking down a playfield and doing some common general repairs, pinball class 101 haha.

    Great table ,great video and you play very well, why are the balls in the vpx black?

    • @Major_Drain
      @Major_Drain  Před 2 lety +1

      Thank you for watching, I’m better at figuring out the rules than actually shooting the ball where it’s supposed to go lol. In VPX you can change the ball image to what ever you prefer, this table author went with a darker ball mostly likely to improve contrast and make it easier to track the ball on a bright playfield. I’m just playing these tables as is, so anybody that downloads them will have a similar experience.

      The virtual table is fun but definitely not as challenging as the real machine & id rather have my pinball skills tested.

      No it’s from Xtreme Gaming Cabinets out of Australia

      Gotcha. It looks amazing. Do you think it’s better (realism) than the ultra vp? I assume so bc you bought it 😂

      @Major_Drain  Před 7 měsíci +1

      @@007bondson1 well mine is a 2-n-1 cabinet ….but comparing both companies premium packages currently the XGC machine is the better machine just comparing components, build quality & software. XGC cabinets are built in house with buyers choice of materials where as RRW are pre fabricated oversized Chinese cabinets that they spec’d afterwards. I always prefer built in house from the ground up….that being said XGC wait times are so ridiculous these days I would just build my own rather than wait 1-2 years for a vpin.

    Are the physics and overall feel of the vpin similar to the real machine?

    • @Major_Drain
      @Major_Drain  Před 2 lety +2

      The physics are different table to table depending on how the author had it set up but everything is adjustable in VPX so you can tailor it to your liking. This machine has a shaker motor, 8 solenoids and force feedback so it does a good job of mimicking the sounds and feel of a mechanical pinball machine.
