Gutter Bin Cleaning with Vacuum Truck Vail, CO

In this video, a Gutter Bin® is being cleaned with a vacuum truck in Vail, Colorado. The vacuum setup uses a 4-inch Camlock reducer and a 20-foot flexible hose attached to the vacuum digger, providing enhanced mobility for working in confined city spaces. This setup allows the hose to be easily run to the storm drain while the truck remains parked. The typical cleaning time for a Gutter Bin® with this setup is between 3 to 6 minutes, depending on the pollution load.
Efficiencies could be improved by weighing the bag as it's being removed, dumping the contents into a bucket or receptacle to minimize mess, and adding a guard with a handle to the end of the 4-inch hose for easier cleaning. Further efficiencies are gained by sucking the contents directly from the bag without removing it from the Gutter Bin frame.
