Man, I have discovered this after 9 years from its release and seriousy, it is one of the best songs I have ever heard. There is something in it that hits so damn deep, I don't really know why isn't/wasn't popular.
Why has this song not got more views? Hawley is brilliant.

Listen to the first 8 seconds very carefully! I've cleverly noticed that the fade in before the guitar is actually from Hawley's song "Last Orders" from his Coles Corner Album. You'd have to have the volume turned up loud to hear it closely.
I love this...a really subtle yet powerful film reflecting his music and lyrics so well. Another true heartfelt song from Mr Hawley. Richard, can you please do more shows down south? ie Bristol area?

Heard this on Radio 2 tonight and was blown away by its beauty, it was like the feeling I had when I first heard Lewis Taylor I just wanted to tell everyone. Reading some of the comments I was surprised to see mediocre?

I do understand fully, but nevertheless it is still confusing. To be fair though Richard Hawley's tracks are not really played much on regular radio shows to reach a wider audience, it seems manufactured pop is riding that wave again and that is paid for advertisement in the industry by the label. Shame.
