Great interview as always. Maybe you could ask continuing follow-on questions so the interviewee can expand on what they are talking about. The questions you ask are excellent, just would be nice for more expansion of the answer so the interview feels more fluid and nautral.

Its very sincere sharing. He is about my age and only now I’m initially rolling out for something in dubai😂 I find Asian community need a better experience with app shopping for what they like(mostly food and snacks) and I see thousands of people struggling everyday to grab Asian stuff at convenience so I think I need to do something about that. I do not have so great ambition with Dubai life but hope I can raise something and let people run before I am leaving Dubai . I’m gonna spend about 50k on this little project, hope it works
Doing business in Dubai be 100% attentive. You will find many scammers and snake oil sellers here. From clients who dont want to pay, brokers who want to bother you for money but never deliver, rip off PROs, etc etc. information is something that doesn’t exist, if it exists its under the control of people who will not let anything out until you pay some money. So you have to dirty your own hands sometimes and lose a little money to avoid losing a huge amount because of your mistake in the near future. Also thing with business is, the moment you issue your license or start a lease or hire a guy your clock starts immediately.. you have no time to waste. If you are not able to convert it into profit in the limited time, it will incur again but this time you have no money remaining.

You need so much to survive in Dubai. Very few people can save money in Dubai. Unless you share accommodation (live with roommates) and have no children.
