I have 3 of these in my 1400 sq ft 2-storey house. They took the place of a huge gas furnace and saved me 50% on energy last winter. Definitely recommended
How cold does it get where you live? I'm thinking of doing the same.
@@KimKim-gd5ui I'm in Ontario Canada so it's below 0 degrees C for most of the winter.
Dang, I appreciate you leaving this comment because I was expecting this thing to be much more powerful and was disappointed, but I'm going to give it a chance because of your comment.
@@jamesstuart3346 Damn! That's reeeeal cold!
I got this exact model at Costco today on sale for $49.99. What a deal and thanks for the heads up.
I have been a Costco member for many years and love how Costco totally stands behind your purchase and satisfaction unlike Sam's Club which could care less.
Absolutely. Great company.
I got mine refurbished from Amazon for $30. The emergency cut off switch on the bottom just needed a little padding to lift it a little higher. I think it was a return because the emergency cut-off switch needed a little help. I'd hate to pay $150 for one of these. Using the fan-only selection, I've reduced my Duke Energy power bill by $50 a month in the summer. I'm able to run my central air conditioning for only an hour a day when the outside temps are in the 90s in the late afternoon using the fan-only function.
That's amazing. Thank you for that update. Interesting to see if I can knock mine down.

Geez....I csme to this video to see if mine was broken, it was soooo quiet! 😂
I was expecting this thing to BUST hot air through the room, I'm a little disappointed so far.
Thanks for the video!
You might have it on the low setting. Look at the wavy lines button on the left and cycle through until it says “high”. Anytime you lift it up it shuts off automatically and will also reset it to the highest setting. It pulls half the energy on the low setting.
@@AereForsthow can it pull half the energy on low, if it is set to the temp? Thought the diff bet high & low was just fan speed.
Awesome job! I thought this was the TAVH10, but couldn't confirm anywhere else. Just got my Costco flyer, it will be 59.99 on 10/31st!
Went to Costco and got it for $60. Sale good through November 13.
It is the same as the TAVH10. I emailed Vornado and asked and they confirmed it was.
What's the diff between EH1 and AVH10?
Thank you for this review.
Jose from El Sereno .
I' bought it at Costco in Alhambra 49.89 They sold out........
It does what you say.
In the fan only mode how far away can you feel the wind
I can measure but it’s a good distance.
Barely. NOT a "WIND" machine.
I have 3 of them i bought from Costco they are all now not working!!!!!
When I set up temperature 73 but it doesn't stay 73.It goes up like 74 or 75 in room temperature. Please let me know..thanks
Same with mine. I have a Vornado VH200 which has a thermostat which turns the heater on and off as it reaches the temperature or gets colder. This one stays on constantly. The fan slows down but it continues to put out heat and I have to shut it off.
Works good till it doesn’t
Be sure and check some of the repair videos before you buy this expensive junk…
Works great so far. No complaints.
Costco’s return policy is unbeatable
Did you see a remote compartment? I didn’t see one. I think that is the only disappointment
No I don’t believe there is one.
@@TheRealReviewz if you look underneath the unit, there is a space for it right in the middle at the center of the wraparound cord section. Of course, you will need to buy some male and female, Velcro tape. Stick a piece of the scratchy side to the bottom of the unit and stick a piece of the soft side to back of the remote. Now you have a place to securely attach it when you don’t need to use it.
Not a review, just a commercial
Sorry you felt like that. I tried to show you the product and give you a first hand look.
Agree. Sounds very used-car salesman-ish. Better to look at and compare the reviews on Amazon.
This heater is making me feel sick and dizzy
Was that from the first time starting it?
