Hey Alan. Another beautiful voice/melody I hadn't heard before, and it's from my era! I wonder if he changed his musical direction somewhat the way Mama Cass did--he decided the ballads and more melodic songs really showcased his talent. Mama Cass' heart was in show tunes and she made a conscious effort to change her trajectory.
After those beautiful strings, you have to do "White Bird" by It's a Beautiful Day. In my mind, a perfect pairing.
