    I'm using Revolut from 1 year and I used to travel in different countries like France, Italy and Spain.
    And I can't complain about the card, it's very amazing,and you can control your spendings

    For me, Starling wins on being ethical too. They treat their workers well and pay at least the National Living Wage, and don't invest your money in any nasties either.

    I like the features and visual style of the Starling Bank app.
    It's very stylish and easy to navigate through when using the app.

    I’ve had Monzo for quite a while and just got a Revolut card for its crypto features, but they seem to be limited. You don’t cover anything in great depth so I will have to look further.

    Having become extremely disenchanted with the Co op bank I think it's Starling for me!

      @@MrMonero It has recently taken to declining my cards for no reason - in local shops for transactions I have carried out before! Outside of business hours you cannot contact them - this didn't used to be the case. They text you to authorise transaction but these don't always come through quickly enough! I have been with the Co op for decades and until recently i was very happy with them!

    Which of the three is best for someone living in Canada? My dad wants a UK digital bank but has a Canadian address. With his bank in UK they want his cell number for added verification and it is not a UK cell. He wants to put her pension in the bank and use it in Canada on a bank card that is either debit visa or mastercard. I welcome any suggestions thanks

    Which app allows you to set budgets for particular things (and have transactions come out of each section)? E.g., groceries £50 limit, coffee £10 limit, etc? Do either of them do this?

      Hiya! All three apps have the ability to set spending limits and you can separate your money or your savings into different pots or spaces.

      Absolutely. You can open multiple bank accounts as long as you meet the eligibility criteria. Many people have different accounts to help them organise their money - or you could split your money into separate pots, including specific pots for bills, in a digital app like Monzo or Starling.

      You can, but as revolut is not a bank and is not FSCS insured, I don't think it's the best idea. Starling and monzo are better options I think

      Hi Keano. At the moment only Revolut offers direct access to share trading. You can trade with Starling through external services on its "marketplace", but not directly through the app. Hope that helps.

    Hi, can Starling be used for buying cryptos. I have found Revolut is very unstable.
    I wondered whether Skrill would be an alternative, in particular, for Coinbase Pro?
    I'm a member of Finder. Huge selection of Information.

      Hi Carol, lovely to hear from you! At the moment you can't actually trade directly through Starling. Instead you'd have to choose one of its trading platforms available on its marketplace including Nutmeg, Wealthify and Wealth Simple. Out of all three, you can only trade crypto with Wealth Simple at the moment.

    Can someone please answer this question I’m thirteen and my mum want to get a debit new debit card for me I want to get starling but apparently I won’t have acces to it so my mum can only see it should I get revolut instead

    Hello:) if I send money from one bank, for example Revolut, to my card of another bank, for example - HSBC, or vice versa, will it be charged? Do they charge a fee for sending money?

      Hiya! For the most part, money transfers in the same currency should be fee-free, while cross-border transactions usually charged an exchange fee. It's always good to check with the specific app beforehand to make sure you're OK with any potential fees. Hope that helps!

      All 3 apps offer similar support via the app, email or telephone - and the reviews for customer service are fairly positive across the board. As digital-only apps, none of them have in-person support via a bank branch. So if that's something you require or would like from your banking provider, a traditional high-street bank might be a better option for you.

      Hiya. At the moment, Monzo is only available to people who live in the UK or have a UK address. But you can transfer money internationally using the app. Hope that helps.

      But you get the same protection as a bank as that has changed recently and due to your money going in to a UK bank it’s covered.

      Correct, Revolut is not a bank but it is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority as an electronic money institution.

      Hi Aztur, thanks for getting in touch. It's a little tricky as Revolut do not accept cash or cheque deposits. If you open a Revolut account as your main bank account you can ask to have your salary paid into your account. If you want to transfer cash funds into your Revolut account you could try visit a money transfer service in-branch. Otherwise, I would recommend getting in touch with Revolut to find out more. Hopefully that helps 😊

      As long as you live in the UK, you should be able to get one, but otherwise, ask them, maybe your credit isn't good enough or something

    Monzo wants to know everything about you for a poor service which you are infomed at the end when they receive from you your ID photo, address, phone number, information about your household income, your voice message with your photo... No thanks. Maybe do they also what to know what I like in my bed? There were no such burden with Revoult...
