Man, how much I love this!
Wow. Whole new direction for David Binney - perhaps this new sound is part of the reason he returned to California. Amazingly tight groove quite danceable. I don't understand where the keyboard sounds came from.
There's a laptop on the ground, I'm guessing all the extra sound are coming from that, perhaps with metronome going out to headphones. Then there's also foot pedals for mire real time effects

@@scandot I don't think it's a backhanded compliment, it shows his integrity as a musician. It makes me love Louis all the more seeing him take more of a supporting role, I think it shows that he's humble and committed to making the music as good as possible rather than just pushing to show of his chops like some musicians do.
These guys are amazingly talented. Thanks for sharing.

Dancers are expensive plus there doesn't seem to be much room for them on this stage. He does put up a decent show with background vocalists that do routines and a serious copper section when he plays shows under his own name. Here he is just one of many players on a festival which probably does not pay that well.
