I love that Ultraviolence is your #1, it's mine as well. Also so happy to see Fucked My Way Up To The Top at #4, it's my #2 but most people really don't like that song. Meanwhile I'm over here like 🗣 the subject matter is fucking hilarious !! To me, FMWUTTT and Brooklyn Baby are the funniest songs in her entire discography, with BB being a hilarious takedown (or maybe homage depending how you look at it) of hipster culture, and FMWUTTT just being a scathing piece of art.
Honeymoon is amazing. It just have the vibe of a old noir movie, you and newly wed partner who’s rich, a mafia type of guy dealing with their weird relationship.
Yess. Old noir. It gives faded Hollywood glamour, it’s her most cinematic album but also incorporates psychedelic electronic beats, jazz and an Orchestra. So many genres that wouldn’t typically go together but fits like a glove in the album.

@@TheTrickR00m I think it is, but it changes with time. Some of the songs are on the slower side, but she also uses hiphop elements similarly to Born to die. The overall sound is so cinematic, though, and the songwriting I think is her most poetic besides NFR.

Sometimes I find pausing takes me out of the flow of the song sonically so I try to only pause when I have a big theory but the balance is really hard so it’s a very fair point. @@TheTrickR00m no i get that i just find that theres a pattern in the lana reaction videos that i watch where they seem to pause in the wrong places/ vice versa. theres lyrics that people brush over i feel are very important but for the first listen its understandable to miss it, theres nothing wrong with your video i think its the best ive seen just a thought x
