  • What is thoracic outlet syndrome? Thoracic outlet syndrome refers to a group of neurovascular symptoms that arise from compression of the nerves and blood vessels passing through the narrow space between the collarbone and first rib, called the thoracic outlet.

    I have this syndrome because I have one pair of extra cervical ribs. Sometimes I don't have any symptoms, sometimes I can't write with my hand. I tried physiotherapy, massage and back exercises but without any effects. I think my posture still needs exercises, but I hope I won't need surgical treatment.

      You can have a minor surgery to remove the extra ribs.

    Could this cause a beating in the brain mainly in one side? I feel it all in thw same side, the artery in the neck, to the brain. 😢

    Chiropractic websites act like this is common, and yet here it is called a zebra. Food for thought.

      cause its rare as, the incidence of this condition is 1 in 100,000. Chiropractors are quacks

    I have this. I found a pt person who had it. She is sure she will be able to fix me. Although did my 1st exercises at home yesterday, I got an event, which I have not had for a week.. I see her tomorrow.
