Can any one say something about muzola ngunga's deep voice? It blended well with those great instruments; what suprises me is that when doing this song he was only 17 years of age and could belt out such a voice that could spice any sound. He was the admiration of many that is why Verckys could not let him go despite is tender age.
Orchestre kiam was my best band followed by others such as lipua lipua,kamale,bella bella etc.May i thank you for the job well done and keep it up. I had nowhere to get such hits.but remember BOMOTO by kiam!!! May i request the following if you might have 1.VIMPI / MOKILI album by Vata mombasa 2.OMANGA by Fataki lokassa Bana ngenge. Surely Wakatunga Old is Gold and memories come back to me,be blessed.

@ Minish, Adoli Bamweniki is still alaive and the GREAT MUZOLA NGUNGA is in Belgium, live and kicking but doing some construction work. No longer plays music but told me KIAM was a well knit family as he fought back tears. He says everyone was passionately committed to the success of the band until Makaya Joseph( a Garbonees) in short Mark Jose the composer of EXODE broke the band by malicious incitements. So sad I almost wept.

I love the drums! I haven't come accross a challenger.
The challenger Ngombo, is not born yet and I DOUBT WHETHER THERE WILL EVER BE. DR. VICHIKO - as they used to call him - WAS IN A CLASS OF HIS OWN.
And just to add, remember these drums were not ELECTRIC DRUMS and he could play them as if he had four hands ; just imagine.
I thought I was the only one who really appreciated the drumming.Like Kiminza says a challenger is yet to be born
