It's so easy to help a foreigner out. Call the embassy of their country, connect them with a person there who speaks their language and you're done. Or use google translate to ask them their hotel name and stop a taxi for them. If they don't have money pay for them.. You won't become poor from paying somebody's bus/taxi fee once. That's so sad the last group of teens wouldn't at least try to help. Firstly, if someone genuinely dropped off a foreign exchange student from Korea (even if I didn't speak it), I would make it my mission to help. Google translate. Calling the police for help on how to get him back where he is supposed to be. I DON'T CARE IF MY DAY GETS WASTED, I'M HELPING HIM.

Hello there for the people commenting they're rude I gotta agree with you,but not all people living in Jakarta behave like this.I think most of them is just flustered,not open minded,confuse and they rarely interact with people from another country,which is sad.
If you visit other parts of Jakarta or more elite places I think they'll certainly help,and handle the situation well.

I thought even the first 2 girls in the beginning were kinda rude because they initially kept walking like they were gonna leave him alone.. I guess I got used to Korean hospitality so I found it rude but I know the standards are different around the world
