- In 1986, US satellites picked up an 'anomaly' in the Nevada desert. A special recon unit - codenamed 'Echo' is sent in to investigate. 35 years after their disappearance, emergency comms are received from inside the Anomaly.

The fact that this is a mere concept is enraging. This would make an absolutely stunning movie or better yet series (as they last longer and are way more flexible). Seriously you need to become a director because these visuals ideas and creations would make god tier entertainment.

For just some short footage, CG, voice acting, and minor visual effects, it seriously fleshes out an interesting concept filled with juicy touches of mystery, story, cosmic horror, and dread. In just a minute and 26 seconds, this film really captures an exciting premise that you can tell would be entertaining. Its honestly pretty sad nobody shows more respect because you guys seriously deserve it for how well done this is. Sears! (you are permitted to shoot me for that pun)

Visually, this is stunning. The voice actor leaves everything to be desired, though. I didn't realize bad acting could be so apparent simply from an audio take.
This seems to take place in the same universe as The Sky. I would love to see these concepts expanded on.

This looks amazing Matt! Also it looks like it could be a part of an earlier work of yours, The Gate! I absolutely love cosmic horror-. This one reminded me slightly of the novel House of Leaves! Certain aspects of the story anyway.... If you haven't read it you should definitely give it a shot.... It is not an easy read and you really gotta work for it but it's so worth it! Marc Z Danielewski is the author. His sister, the singer Poe, made an album that went along with it as a complimentary piece. Excellent album! I highly recommend both!

Just stumbled upon your channel after watching "the gate"-trailer out of curiosity. I then realised I've already seen one of your shorts before, "The Sky".
Very impressed by what I've seen so far. Lots of creativity and fresh perspectives in a otherwise stagnated genre.

You have so much talent and I really, really hope you get to create something incredible we'll all see one day. It bums me out that everyone will complain about how there's no new and interesting movies or make fun of the usual formula a typical popular movie will follow, but then will not bother to seek out and watch unique takes on film or give it bad reviews because all they care about is whether it made perfect sense to them. Movies are an art form and your knack for striking visuals would be a blessing to see on a big screen.

The aspect of cosmic horror is even greater when you think about the madness inducing unintelligible shapes of lovecrafts monsters. And the patterns and inexplicable things in their universe

This made me think of House of Leaves. Fantastic concept!! The premise leaves enough room for the writer to explore endlessly (pun intended) 🤭 srry... But seriously, it's astounding to me that this isn't already a feature length film!! Hollywood rarely turns out anything original or engaging lately, it's just endless remakes. I don't understand why your concepts haven't been picked up?!! Has Hollywood become allergic to originality??
