@@bettercommander I always like cards that can make some crazy plays. These are some broken ones for sure and I would probably avoid the broken stuff because it's too easy. I like to work a little harder, but a 3 or 4 card jank combo would be fun to figure out with that and just shock people. But definitely a good card and these combos you pointed out are priceless
Dude I love this card in my mono red Magda deck I use it to copy my big hitting dragons like copper dragon ultravira hellkite or terror of the peaks. Let me just say rolling two dee twenty and getting a combination of 30 treasure in that deck basically wins the game lol 🤣
Does this actually work with Bladewing? My understanding was it triggers when it enters, and you have to choose a target for the trigger. Because Bladewing isn't in the yard before the trigger, it wouldn't be a valid target.
State Based Actions happen before the ability is put on the stack. Bladewing is put in the graveyard as a state based action. Then his trigger goes on the stack, resolves and returns him (a dragon creature). It works. See: mtg.fandom.com/wiki/State-based_action#Description And EDHREC explains it in more detail.
Combos with Worldgorger Dragon for infinite mana, although that one is a bit risky and you have to either have a loop with ardent elementalist+lightning bolt or some Pandemonium-like effect in play already
I like the combo of cursed mirror + astral dragon making exponentially infinite dragons. Makes me wonder if i should use it as an alt win con in my myra the marvelous deck. Normal win con is near infinite turns + near infinite mill. Current alt win con is rise and shine animating all my attractions and various artifacts. I am also already running astral dragon to make extra attractions just in case. So cursed mirror should slot in just fine.
You can probably cut a mana rock for the added utility and combo line if you're running Astral Dragon. Ideally, since your commander is 4 mana, you want 2 mana rocks, but I think it's worth it.
@@bettercommander tbh the only rocks i currently run are sol ring and sol talisman unless you count mindsplice apparatus. But i do have a few choices for cuts already since they just aren't great other than as deterrents to protect my board.
I like this card. 3 mv rock is a high floor.

I don't use it as infinite, but it is pretty sweet. If it was just a mana rock, not great, but it clearly has lots of value
I've slotted it in quite a few decks. You can get into some real shenanigans, especially if you can recur it. Great card for $3
