Pretty impressive accuracy. Does look a bit like the body, mechanism, and display you'd have to be a bit more gentle with to keep it going for a long time.
I have a Gearwrench 85077, and haven't really seen many tests on that one if you end up doing more testing on 'cheaper' models. Because of your videos I've been looking at the Icon as well.

Yeah I was not expecting that accuracy. But I agree if you drop or hit it on something it would more than likely be game over.
Defiantly plan to do that Gearwrench, but Its looking like that's going to be next month before I can. Hopping to do a lot more torque wrench's, 1/4, 3/8 and even 3/4.
Yeah for a professional torque wrench you defiantly get the most for your money with the Icon. I have been seeing them on Ebay sell for around 220 vs 330 HF wants.

@@Tools-Tested Oh nice, I didn't know that about eBay. Funny with tools, there's always something you can convince yourself you need. 😅

Wow, that has put some of those other torque wrenches you tested to shame. Perhaps nt the best of quality with regards to build, but certainly god enough for a keen home mechanic.

Yeah I was totally shocked, yep it gives the ease of adjustment with a click. Defiantly a good torque wrench for a home mechanic.

The accuracy is pretty incredible. It would probably be sub $100 without the useless screen

Hey can you test the 3/8 version of this? I am looking for something that would be accurate in the 10-15 ft pounds for spark plugs as well as up to 30-40ft pounds. It is hard to find a good one because most 1/4 go up to 14 and 3/8 start at 15-20. The eTork and Vanpo 3/8 look like the best budget options for this range. If you have any suggestions (clicker included) I am open.

Maybe the end of this month or next I could look at testing this in 3/8. I did find the 1/2 easy to use. I know what you mean, you almost need a 1/4 and a 3/8. I have a Sunex 1/4 which seems to work well.

@@Tools-Tested it would be cool if you could try the lowest setting as well. Like most 3/8 are 20-100, but I wonder if the 10-100 ones are inaccurate at 10-15.

Yep I was shocked, just need amazon to add packaging instead of just throwing it in a box.

I just bought one and out of the box it doesn’t seem to stop. Or recognize where it’s actually set

@@Tools-Tested Pulled the daughters bicycle out yesterday and just messed with torqueing down the the 15mm's on the tires and I figured it out. Mine doesn't really make a snap or loud sound as much as a "feel". It gives out a little. It was pretty slick after I started getting used to it.
