MV INTERPRETATION (timestamps are from MV)
- the main theme is HOPE, symbolized by crows, which also represents the members
- crows falling/dying (0:13) representing hopelessness parallel to what the members are doing: running from your problems (0:44, 1:23), being a hikikomori (0:53), the worst trying to end your life by drowning (1:39) or getting hit by a car (1:41)
- Seoyeon (S1) and Jiyeon (S24) represents the "goddesses of hope" (2:31), can also symbolize "the beginning and the end" with Seoyeon being the first member to be introduced and Jiyeon being the last
- the goddesses of hope sent crows to the members who are losing hope to tell them to don't give up on life (1:45, 2:01)
- we now have hope: "Wanna start again?" (2:37), hope spreading (2:39), the crows that are dying in the beginning are now alive and flying (2:51), "we unite as one, 24 dreams" (played in reverse 2:38)
- most of the funeral scenes are POV from the grave (0:27, 0:39, 2:22, 2:57, 3:21), maybe symbolizing US or anyone watching the MV that already lost hope (thus "dead")
- finally, a crow (hope) coming out from the grave (3:23) telling us that there will always be hope, to don't give up, hope doesn't die :)
I also like how the use of crows and dark Angel imagery. It's as if they're retaining a bit of darkness and gloom, as if they're still hurt and sad in a way,but they still survive.I think is a more realistic view on depression. Not everything is pure joy and bliss, but you can still fly high.I saw someone comment like this and wanted to share it because I think it makes a lot of sense

This song is so amazing! As you pointed out, the vibe is very Rising-like and just represents TripleS well. I also love the note they hit for the "We Go, We High, Go Now" line in the chorus!
TripleS Is really surprising with their music as a sub units but I'm really liking the official whole release very well produced and arranged
All the girls were dead in the MV. They were not accepted by the society and they decided to die. But then they had their rebirth in the form of crows. The whole concept is concerning the population of those who are neglected and refused by the society.

I also love the duality between Seoyeon and Jiyeon. They’re similar in age. Seoyeon: zero experience but tremendously grown over her two years. Jiyeon: Years of ballet and performance experience. And now they’re equals.
The Weekly Idol this week featuring them that just dropped was exceedingly entertaining and nonstop (Weekly Idol also dropped a FULL choreo video of all 24 of them dancing separately from the episode)

The black wings remind me of Generaton, the group dance reminds me of Rising, the white outfits in the dance break remind me of Girl's Capitalism, Yeonji's line "nunbushin shine better" reminds me of Invincible. There might be other things there but this is such an awesome ot24 debut. When this dropped I was so emotional. I've been a fan for a long time now so it's kinda crazy the ot24 actually happened. I hope this debut will be forever iconic for kpop.
I imagine this is what being through the loona journey to see them debut was like.

spot on. experiencing loona predebut up to debut is the most unforgettable and special experience and tripleS are giving that same feeling, it’s rly emotional as a long time orbit i love this group just as much ♡

Yes and no. Loona was like ... for context NOTHING remotely similar had ever been done before. Lore was NOT a thing in kpop, other groups had storylines (EXO for example) but zero groups were doing Arg style lore that the audience had to "discover" on their own. On top of the music, and the mysterious girl roll out... it would be like Experiencing TripleS if the concept of big girl groups and meeting members 1 by 1 simply didn't exist.
One cool thing I want to point out (which I don't think you guys will ever react to bc they never put subtitles) but ever since Generation, TripleS has consistently gone on the radio on Bae10's radio show and YooYeon has become kind of a legendary star on that show bc she is INCREDIBLY funny (without meaning to) and has some iconic moments every time she's on. Last week her and hayeon went on to promote Girls Never Die and you could tell Bae Sung Jae (the radio host) REALLY likes her on the show bc she's instant gold on the radio (and hayeon had a moment where i must've laughed for 5 straight minutes bc she drew pictures of the 2 hosts and she is definitely a talented individual)

This is peak! Glad to see i’m not the only one who got emotional LOL. S1 and S24 (the seo/suh yeon) each having a wing and joining really pushed me over the edge haha! We’ve come a long way! Not just a title track but an anthem! This is the true beginning for tripleS! Seems like they did two choreo sections (the olive robes one with the crazy formations + the regular hype choreo) on the stages so far they just do the regular. Hope they release the full video of the robes one cuz it’s so beautiful! I love these girls. The album is so good too. Triples really never lets me down with a flavor that no other group is really doing rn!

The girls in the graves seem to be the egos or identities of girls who are afraid of failure. It portrays girls of today's era who neglect their inner beauty because they only pursue a flashy appearance on social media, and who are tired of chasing that glamor, leading to depression, pain, and thoughts of suicide.
I think this MV depicts the story of such girls coming together in solidarity, overcoming the trials and pain, getting up again even when they fall, and being reborn as strong girls who never cry.
9:44 If you reverse play the strange sounding voice after YooYeon's lyrics, it becomes the sentence 'We unite as ONE, TWENTY FOUR dreams'.
This has a similar meaning to tripleS' slogan, 'We are one and also twenty-four'.
